Quarterbacks
Jared Goff ($6,500) @ ARI
This game has the highest over/under of the week at 54.5. Goff is second in the league in pass yards at 303 per game and has over 2 TD passes per game. The Cardinals are bottom 10 in pass yards and TDs allowed so far this year. Lock, Purdy and Winston each hit at least 3 passing scores in the past three weeks.
Jacoby Brissett ($5,600) vs. DET
The 2026 Lions remind me of the Drew Brees Saints from the mid-2010s, where he’s throwing for nearly 5,000 yards every year and they end up winning 7-9 games because the defense is just being thrashed. Detroit has permitted a Top 4 weekly QB performance in every week except last week, when Bryce Young finished as QB7 despite 330 passing yards and 2 TDs. Arizona keeps letting Brissett cook, as he’s hit at least 35 pass attempts in 12 of his last 16 full games. When the Cardinals get in the red zone, it’s Jacoby time, as Arizona throws the ball at the 2nd-highest rate inside both the 20 and 10-yard lines. Targeting this game will be a theme throughout.
Jameis Winston ($5,500) @ WAS
Old school, chuck-it-up, YOLO style from Jame-o last week: 250 yards, 3 passing scores and 2 interceptions against Arizona. But it was the first time he truly looked comfortable and Winston-like this year. Washington is proving to be great against the run and terrible against the pass. They’re bottom 10 in completions, yards, TDs and QB rush yards, which is kind of sneaky. Dimes didn’t need to do much last week in their win, but Hurts, Darnold and Prescott accounted for 11 TD passes in the first 3 weeks.
Aaron Rodgers ($5,300) vs. IND
I think this is the third year we’ve done the DFS pod, and I don’t believe I’ve ever recommended Rodgers as a play. The QB pool is so ugly this week that we’re going there. The former MVP has at least 290 yards and 3 TDs in back-to-back weeks, and Pittsburgh has the 4th-highest Pass Rate Over Expectation. It seems Mike McCarthy is just going to call the 2010s Packers offense, both schematically and in his long-standing dedication to ignoring the run. Rodgers will square off with a Colts D that is the 6th-easiest matchup for QBs, including having allowed the 5th-most passing yards. Keep in mind that Pittsburgh has a mini-bye, having played on Thursday night, while Indy is coming back from playing in London on Sunday.
Running Backs
Jahmyr Gibbs ($9,400) @ ARI
This Cardinals-Lions game total is EIGHT points higher than any other game on the main slate! I can’t remember a discrepancy that large between the top game and the second-highest total. Gibbs’ role is like prime-CMC good right now. He’s seeing over 25 touches per game, leads all RBs in targets, and is tied with Derrick Henry for the most TDs. His Fanball average is over 30 points, and the general rule of thumb is that you’re looking for 3x value, so there’s a chance he’s still underpriced, considering 3x his price doesn’t get you to 30. Arizona’s D isn’t a particularly great matchup, and they have allowed the fewest RB catches in the league, but Gibbs is a different beast. I wouldn’t fault you for saving $700 to get to Bijan Robinson instead. Ideally, we can play both.
Chase Brown ($6,800) @ MIA
With Chase and Higgins trending toward out, the Burrow passes will need to go somewhere else, which could be Chase Brown runs or Chase Brown receptions, of which he had 11 last week. No one has needed to pass on Miami to beat them this year; they’re facing the 4th-fewest pass attempts. But they’ve seen the 8th-most rush attempts, and they’ve allowed the 10th-most receptions and 5th-most receiving yards to opposing backs. Oh, and by the way, the most receiving TDs to running backs, at 4 in 4 weeks. This seems like a Chase Brown feature game to me.
Aaron Jones ($6,100) @ NO
I used Jones in this spot last week: 128 combo yards on 24 touches against Miami. Let’s go back to the well, because Atlanta proved that New Orleans has some big-time work to do in covering the run. The Saints have allowed the most rushing yards and scores. They’re giving up 167 combo yards per game and 2.3 touchdowns to the RB position. It didn’t help that they allowed 5 scores to the two B Robinsons last week.
Braelon Allen ($5,600) vs. CLE
Allen is the first of two Jets I’ll be recommending this week. What am I doing? Breece Hall is expected to be out again, and Allen dominated New York’s backfield in his absence, commanding 94% of RB snaps and 100% of the touches. Unfortunately, the Jets ran an absurdly low 32 plays, a full five fewer than the next-lowest amount in 2026. Still, 14 carries and 2 catches meant Allen received half of the team’s offensive touches. The last three RB1s the Browns faced all had at least 20 touches. That workload as a home favorite under $6K makes Allen a very strong play.
Wide Receivers
Amon-Ra St. Brown ($7,800) @ ARI
His price dropped $100 from last week, and I feel like I’m stealing. The best comp for St. Brown is JSN: they both run a ton from the slot and are the alpha receivers for their teams. What did JSN do against Arizona in Week 2? 9-155-3. The Cards will also be without top corner Will Johnson and probably will be missing starting FS Andrew Wingard, and they’ve allowed a league-leading 8 TDs to WRs this year.
Michael Wilson ($6,200) vs. DET
The theme of the week is to stack this game, and the target tree is incredibly narrow in Arizona right now. Wilson has a 30% target share, Trey McBride has a 31% share, and then no one else cracks 10%, including Moped Marv. That makes for a very easy stack with Brissett/Wilson/McBride. Wilson has an elite red zone role, as he’s tied for 1st among targets inside the 10 with JSN. Detroit has been absolutely grilled by opposing WR1s, having allowed DOUBLE-DIGIT catches to three of them already. Chris Olave had 10-182, Garrett Wilson put up 10-107-1, and T-Mac put up maybe the game of the year with 14-192-2. Wilson is a lock for me this week, cash or GPPs.
Matthew Golden ($6,000) vs. CHI
Look, the Packers offense better show up in some way, at home, against the Bears, or LaFleur is going to get fired. Golden has scored in back-to-back weeks and led the team in targets last week with 7. He’s averaging 9.3 targets per game this year. Golden moves all over the field, but matchups against Malik Muhammad in the slot and Tyrique Stevenson on the left side are very advantageous for him. The Bears’ defensive statistics have been bolstered by a matchup with the Vikings, who can’t pass (and it was in the rain), the Eagles, who we’re learning can’t pass either, and the Jets, who didn’t really even try to pass last week. Jalen Coker and Tetairoa McMillan torched this D in Week 1. I actually like both Golden and Watson in this one.
Carnell Tate ($5,500) vs. HOU
This year’s No. 4 overall pick has really come on over the past two weeks, with the 6th-most targets of any receiver in that span. He’s been productive on that volume as well, with 15 catches for over 200 yards. Now Tate gets an incredibly unlikely elite matchup against a Texans defense getting deep-fried by enemy wideouts. Houston is 31st in basically every meaningful stat when defending WRs: targets, catches, yards, and TDs. Certainly, part of that is facing Chase, Higgins, and CeeDee Lamb. However, the one team Houston faced that didn’t have a star WR1, Indianapolis, had Josh Downs put up 5-77, and a washed Keenan Allen had 6-63-1.
Tight Ends
Trey McBride ($6,600) vs. DET
He’s actually the 13th-most expensive WR/TE combo this week, so I feel like I’m saving a ton of money by putting him in that spot in my lineup. He’s had a few quieter weeks and hasn’t scored since Week 2, with only 7 catches for 31 yards last week. But he’s had double-digit targets every week this year. And the Lions D is terrible, and they’re still missing their starting safeties, which is why the Lions are giving up the most receptions and touchdowns to the tight end position, and the second-most yards.
T.J. Hockenson ($5,100) @ NO
This seems like double-dipping a chip. He had 13 receptions last week, and that won’t be duplicated. But Justin Jefferson still might not play, and the Vikings’ bye is next week, so it would be kind of nuts to start him now unless he’s 100%. I was volunteering to drive Kyler to the airport at halftime last week, and then he just kept hitting Hock over and over again in the second half and cobbled together a half-decent passing performance. There are two options for Kyler to throw to, Addison and Hockenson, and Hock has a great matchup: the Saints are allowing the 5th-most yards and the 5th-most receptions to opposing TEs.
Mike Gesicki ($4,200) @ MIA
Ja’Marr Chase left Sunday with a concussion and is still in the protocol. Cincinnati has a Week 6 bye as well, so they may lean safer with both Chase and Tee Higgins, who is also hurt with groin and neck injuries and also didn’t practice Wednesday. If both are out, Gesicki is a smash. If just one misses, he’s still a very good play. He has at least 3 catches and a TD in three of his four games. The Dolphins are bottom 4 in both catches and yards allowed to tight ends. Every TE1 they’ve faced has had either a TD or at least 6 catches. T.J. Hockenson just hung Week 4’s best TE performance on this Miami team.
Kenyon Sadiq ($4,000) vs. CLE
Despite a goose egg in the box score in Week 4, Sadiq had 4 targets on only EIGHTEEN Geno dropbacks, good for a 22% target share. I’m certain we’ll get more attempts than that. Sadiq is one of the most athletic TE prospects we’ve ever seen at 6-3, 240 pounds with a sub-4.4 40, and has already proven to have explosive upside, as evidenced by Week 3’s 7-105-1 effort. Cleveland’s TE defense is bottom 10 in catches, yards, and TDs allowed to the position. Sadiq’s fellow pass-game targets Breece Hall and AD Mitchell are also set to miss Week 5, further condensing the targets around Garrett Wilson and Sadiq.
Sleepers
RJ Harvey, RB ($5,400) @ LAC
He had 10 receptions last week and 6 the week before. Did we mention Fanball is PPR? He leads all RBs in the league in target share. Harvey easily looks like the best back in Denver, but they’re still using him in the Darren Sproles role, and yet he’s outsnapped J.K. Dobbins in 2 of the 3 games they’ve played together. The Chargers are allowing the 7th-most running back touches per game, and Emanuel Wilson had a great day against LA last week.
Dohntae Meyers, WR ($3,600) @ MIA
Like with Gesicki, Meyers is dependent on Chase and Higgins’ injury statuses. You need at least one of them to miss for this to be a viable play, but we’ll need to save somewhere to get Gibbs, McBride, Amon-Ra, etc. in. A game against Miami a week before the bye might be a good time to get the WR corps fully healthy. With Chase out for most of the game, Meyers was solid with 7-82 on 9 targets. Fellow backup wideout Mitchell Tinsley saw just 53% of the snaps compared to Meyers’ WR room-leading 89%. On paper, Miami is a tough matchup for WRs, having allowed the fifth-fewest yards to the position. However, their schedule has been Vegas (who has no quality WRs), San Fran with a limited 33-year-old Mike Evans at WR1, Kansas City, who has maybe the worst WR room in the league, and then the Vikings sans Justin Jefferson.
Tre Harris, WR ($3,400) vs. DEN
Tre Harris at $3,400 against Denver with Ladd out is another cheap option, especially if Chase and Higgins do end up playing.
