Fantasy Football Injury Report

The NFL Playoffs have arrived but that doesn’t mean the fantasy season is over. In fact, 2024 FullTime Fantasy Playoff League drafts are now underway! But before you start your playoff drafts, our Fantasy Football Injury Report will keep you up-to-date on all the fantasy-relevant injuries for the 14 teams in the NFL playoffs.

Injuries on both sides of the ball play a more crucial role in the postseason. Also, some late-season ailments have the potential to affect players in 2024. We will cover all those here in the Wild Card Round Fantasy Football Injury Report.

Finally, FullTime Fantasy Members will get the latest NFL injury news and advice live each Sunday and Thursday in the FullTime Fantasy Discord. Click below to join us today!

Jalen Hurts (QB) Philadelphia Eagles – Hurts dislocated his middle finger on his throwing hand in Sunday’s loss. But the good news is that the X-rays were negative. The reeling Eagles can ill-afford to be without their star quarterback and it looks like Hurts will be under center in Tampa.

Sam LaPorta (TE) Detroit Lions – Anyone who saw LaPorta’s hyperextended knee injury was immediately concerned. However, reports indicate there is still a slight possibility that the rookie tight end could be active this week against the Rams. We think that is highly unlikely. Detroit is favored by 3.5 points and in good position to host another playoff game next week. Expect LaPorta to sit, but we will update Discord.

Jaylen Waddle (WR) Miami Dolphins – Miami’s defense has been decimated by injuries. However, there is some good news on the other side of the ball. After sitting out the final two regular-season games, there is a strong chance that Jaylen Waddle (ankle) will be good to go in Week 19.

Christian McCaffrey (RB) San Francisco 49ers– The Niners earned the NFC’s bye, so they’ll give CMC a week off to fully heal. After sitting out last week, that will give McCaffrey two weeks of rest. He will be ready to go next week.

Gabe Davis (WR) Buffalo Bills – Davis exited Week 18 with a sprained PCL. The injury is not major, so Davis is day-to-day. We will monitor his practice participation throughout the week. If active, Davis is a known big-play threat with a history of showing up in the postseason.

Raheem Mostert (RB) Miami Dolphins – Mostert sat out Miami’s season finale but is expected to play in Kansas City. You can find over/under props for Mostert’s rushing yards this week, which is a good indicator of his availability. As was his Tuesday practice participation.

Kenny Pickett (QB) Pittsburgh Steelers – By all accounts, Pickett has fully recovered from an ankle injury. However, Mike Tomlin is electing to stick with the ‘hot hand’ in Mason Rudolph. Pittsburgh travels to Buffalo as 9.5-point underdogs in the Wild Card round.

T.J. Watt (LB) Pittsburgh Steelers – Further hampering the Steelers’ chances will be playing without their best player. 3-time sack leader T.J. Watt will miss at least one game with a knee injury.

Romeo Doubs (WR) Green Bay Packers – Doubs had to go to the hospital after he began coughing up blood after taking a shot to the chest. The good news is that he was released within minutes and returned to celebrate with teammates. Doubs is day-to-day.

Noah Brown (WR) Houston Texans – Brown sat out last week with a back injury and missed practice on Tuesday. The Texans also played without Robert Woods (hip) and he also has yet to return to practice. UPDATE: Woods returned to practice Wednesday but Brown remained sidelined.

Justyn Ross (WR) Kansas City Chiefs – Ross is not practicing due to a hamstring injury. Kadarius Toney (hip/ankle) is limited.

Cedric Tillman (WR) Cleveland Browns – Tillman is in the NFL’s concussion protocol.

Dustin Hopkins (PK) Cleveland Brown – A hamstring injury is expected to sideline Hopkins for Cleveland’s return trip to Houston. Riley Patterson will kick for the Browns.
