For many fantasy football managers, the playoffs have arrived. Congratulations on making it this far! Our Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 14 will help you re-enforce your roster for these must-win games.
Complicating matters this week is that six teams are on bye. The free-agent stakes have never been higher. Here are the top fantasy-relevant, low-rostered Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 14 free agents to target with FAAB recommendations.
Week 14 byes: Atlanta, Green Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Washington
FAAB denotes Free Agent Acquisition Budget
Zonovan Knight (RB) New York Jets (15% FAAB) - Although Michael Carter's inevitable return could complicate things, Zonovan Knight has earned a significant role in New York's backfield. Knight has topped 100 scrimmage yards in back-to-back games. Also, the undrafted rookie is averaging a robust 5.97 yards per touch. Regardless of Carter's status, Knight is the best bet to lead New York's backfield down the stretch. And that makes the unheralded first-year back a waiver wire priority.
James Cook (RB) Buffalo Bills (10% FAAB) - Cook broke out last Thursday, logging a 41% snap share and turning 20 touches into 105 scrimmage yards. Those touches included a career-high 6 receptions. That's an area that Cook excels and the Bills don't seem too enamored with Devin Singletary. Also, the Bills rank 8th in rushing and Cook should have plenty of opportunities to produce down the stretch. Plus, Buffalo has a very favorable playoff (Weeks 15-16) schedule for running backs per FullTime Fantasy's Strength of Schedule Tool.
