Today’s 8 game overlook(DvP is for OPP)

*Warrirs are the worst team defensively sounds far this year. Spurs should do well vs them tonight. Rockets are next followed by the Kings(Nets & Jazz have good matchups).

Favorite Game

Rockets/Nets- game will run at a fast pace and has a solid amount of options that should return value +. Harden price has risen a bit, but his is still paying off most night. Westbrook is underpriced on DK. PJ Tucker has been filing up the stat sheets every night and Clint Capela has an excellent matchup tonight. Also, Daniel House has been starting and playing very well. At 4K he has two 30 + FP games so far. On the Nets side Kyrie Irving is playing at a high level and returned 6.5x  so far this year. Spencer Dinwiddie has the 2nd highest usage on the team and has been playing very well of the bench. Also, DeAndre Jordan is 4.8K and has double/double upside any night. Even playing 20 minutes.

**Celtics will be without Kanter, Williams and most likely Jaylen Brown. This solidifies minutes and opens ups more usage for Hayward, Smart, Walker, Tatum and even Thies. All are in play vs the Knicks tonight.

Injuries

*Steph Curry out- This should open up more usage for DeAngelo Russell. Also opens up additional minutes for Alec Burks and Jordan Poole.
*Miles Turner is out- TJ Leaf is listed as the starter tonight. Also Edmund Sumner is out. Opens up minutes for Justin Holiday who has been playing well over the last 3 games. Doug McDermott will see a bump as well.

*Enes Kanter, Robert Williams our and Jaylen Brown listed as doubtful- Daniel Thies should see the start again and would be the main big man for the Celtics tonight. If Brown is out can look to Marcus Smart and Gordon Hayward again.

*Dejounte Murray is taking the 2nd game of the back to back off. This opens the starting PG spot and Derrick White should get the start. This should also open up minutes for Marco Belinelli and Patty Mills.

*Elfrid Payton is out- Frank Ntilikina should get the start and play over 20 minutes. Also, Alonzo Trier should pick up some additional minutes and we could see Damyean Dotson get back in the mix.

*Reggie Jackson is out- Tim Frazier should start again. Langston Galloway should see some time at PG as well and has a solid ceiling for his price.

PG

Kyrie Irving

Irving is averaging 35 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and   25 shots a game and his price has barely moved. He has returned 6.5x so far this year at a price of 9K (DK price).

Russell Westbrook & OR James Harden

They both have a nice matchup tonight vs the Nets in a fast paced game. Westbrook is still underpriced on DK.

Also consider: Mike Conley vs the Kings one of the worst defensive teams.

VALUE:

Spencer Dinwiddie

Dinwiddie has the 2nd high meet usage on the Nets and playing well off the bench. He posted 30 FPs in 3 straight games and gets a favorable matchup vs the Rockets in what should be a fast paced game. Cheap option with 6-7x upside tonight.

Jordan Clarkson

Price is down and Clarkson has 3 consecutive 20+ FPs games. Solid matchup vs the Pacers who have allowed over 50 FPs to opposing PGs.

*Alec Burks will get more run tonight with Curry out and Derrick White is another solid option.

SG

Zach LaVine

The Pistons have done a good job defending opposing SGs, but I don’t see anyone on the Pistons that can guard the athletic LaVine. Frazier, Kennard, Snell? Cmon. He gets his tonight.

DeAngelo Russell

Russell will have to step up now that Steph Curry will be out for 3 months. We have seen what Russell can do in the past as he possesses a high ceiling. The  Spurs are a tougher matchup, but I still see Russell taking 20 plus shots and getting his tonight.

DeMar DeRozan

DeRozan has been solid to start the year and tonight he gets a favorable matchup vs the Warriors who are ranked as one of the worst defensive teams to start the season.

VALUE:

Justin Holiday

Holiday has played over 20 minutes and hit value on the last 3 games. In 2 of those 3 he put up 7x. With Turner and Sumner our Holiday will see some additional minutes and usually makes the best of them. Favorable matchup vs the Cavs tonight.

Marcus Smart

Played very well in the last 2 games and should do well again tonight vs the Knicks. No Brown, Williams or Kanter tonight.

Bryn Forbes

SF

Gordon Hayward

Hayward is playing like he did on the Jazz. Taking lead on the team and stuffing the stat sheet. (21 points, 10 rebound, 7 assists, a steal and a block). The Celtics ran the offense through Hayward last game and played very well in the second half coming back from a 16 point deficit. He is in an excellent spot again tonight and if Jaylen Brown sits out again I am locking him in tonight.

Bojan Bogdonivic

Bogdanovic looks comfortable on his new team averging 21.3 points over the first 4 games.  He gets the best matchup on the board vs the Kings tonight as the rank last vs SF.

Also consider: Jeremy Lamb– high usage player in a good matchup.

VALUE:

Daniel House Jr.

House is starting and has played well with double digit scoring in 2 of the 4 games and has done well on the boards. Nice value in a good matchup.

Joe Ingles

Jordan Poole, G Robinson III and Eric Paschall all makes solid value plays for the Warriors.

PF

Anthony Davis

Davis went off last game and that was with him going to the locker room with an injury during the game. The Mavs are a solid defensive team, but I don’t see anyone that can slow down Davis. With some of the other high priced studs we could see Davis come in at lower ownership tonight and he possesses similar upside.

LaMarcus Aldridge

Aldridge was a huge disappointment last night, but gets a much better matchup against the Warriors tonight. They rank close to last defending centers and have not done well vs PF either. Price is still low for Aldridge in a very nice matchup.

Jason Tatum

Playing very well this year.

VALUE:

Thad Young

Playing 15-29 minutes and get me a solid matchup tonight.

Daniel Thies

Should get the start and solid matchup vs the Knicks. Can see him playing 20 plus minutes to counter Robinson.

TJ Leaf

Starting tonight for injured Miles Turner.

**If Markieff Morris sits out then Christian Wood becomes a solid value play. Put up a double/double in 20 minutes vs the Pacers.

C

Tristen Thompson

TT has posted a double/double in all four games this year. Averaging 6x in that timeframe at his current price with upside close to 8x. Tonight he gets an excellent matchup vs the Pacers who are ranked 21st vs opposing centers. Should have no problem in this matchup.

Clint Capela

Centers vs Nets. It’s still a thing.
Andre Drummond

Has am excellent matchup tonight.

VALUE:

Bobby Portis
Celtics will have a hard time guarding him.
DeAndre Jordan

Can see him playing a few extra minutes vs the Rockets.
