NHL DFS: Point Shot Cheat Sheet – 8/2

I’m focusing on the main slate on Draftkings here which is the full five-game set. FanDuel is splitting the two slates with two early games and three late games. I prefer playing on DK personally so that’s where my focus will generally be but these plays are valid for both sites, slate dependant of course.

Top Goalies

Jordan Binnington (STL) – Binnington has been battle-tested and stood tall in the past for a very good defensive team overall in the Blues. Outside of the top line and Cale Makar on the blue line, Colorado I feel is limited offensively. If St. Louis can neutralize the 420 line, I like Binnington’s chances of producing a rock-solid effort.

Darcy Kuemper (ARI) – Kuemper is priced down and should see a good amount of shots. This game will depend a lot on which Nashville team shows up. The heavy offensively talented group or the fraudulent, inconsistent team that we’ve seen time and time again.

Freddy Andersen (TOR) – Look for Andersen to see a ton of shots because as we’ve seen in the past, Toronto tends to yield a ton of shots with their leaky defense. I don’t love Andersen’s price tag but the high-save upside is there.

GOOD LUCK!!
