NBA DFS DROPPIN DIMES 12.17

Tonight we are looking at a 6 game slate that follows up a solid 7 game slate. The 5-8 game slate range are my favorites. Two games with top 10 fastest paced teams in the league face off. The Clippers(10th), face the Suns(7th) and the Nets(10th) face the Pelicans(5th) which has one of the worst defensive teams in the Pelicans ranked 27th. Pelicans will be with out Reddick, which opens up minutes and some usage. This game has some solid fantasy value. These two games are a good place to start for fantasy plays tonight.  Also the Knicks get a nice bump in pace giving some of them good fantasy values well.

Notes:

*DeAndre Aytons suspension is up as of yesterday and he is eligible to play tonight.
*Mike Conley is probable.

*Anthony Davis is listed as questionable, so keep an eye on his status. If Anthony Davis sits then we can look at LeBron James.

*Devon Booker is listed as doubtful along with Tyler Johnson. If Booker sits this will open up around 30% usage. Rubio, Oubre and Kaminsky would be my favorites.

*Todays slate breakdown: Team totals, spread, pace with pace +/-, team defense and DvP.

POINT GUARDS

Spencer Dinwiddie

High usage in a pace up spot.

Elfrid Payton

Payton has been playing 25 plus minutes as of late and playing very well. Excellent spot for the Knicks tonight.

VALUE

Rajon Rondo

Davis is ruled out. Rondo in a good spot now and should see a few more minutes.

Frank Ntilikina

Plays solid minutes and low price on both sites.

SHOOTING GUARDS

Jrue Holiday

Starting at PG and taking close to 20 shots a game.

Buddy Hield

Fox is back but coming off the bench. Should still have a good game tonight.

Danny Green

Should see additional minutes tonight.

VALUE
Josh Hart
The Pelicans will be with out JJ Redick tonight and this opens up around 30 minutes and about 15 shot attempts. Playing well again over the last 4 games averaging around 26 FPs. As I stated before this is my favorite game with pace and lack of defense. Hart is also a good rebounder for a guard and possess double digit potential.

RJ Barrett

Should be popular on DK tonight under 5k. Playing a ton of minutes in a pace up spot.

Malik Monk– only if Batum sits out. At only 3.4K and .9 FPPM. Played 25 minutes last game.

SMALL FORWARDS

LeBron James

Davis has been ruled out making James an elite play tonight.

Brandon Ingram

Pace up spot in a good game.

Taurean Prince

Like this game between the Nets and Pelicans. Prince has been taking over 12 shots a game. Also double digit rebounder 2 of the last 4 games.

VALUE

Jeremy Lamb

Lamb price is down and he is starting to play better. Good time to jump on him.

De’Andre Hunter

Playing a ton of minutes and gets a solid matchup vs the Knicks.

POWER FORWARDS

Julius Randle

The Knicks get the biggest bump in pace today, which makes then viable against the poor defense of the Hawks(29th defense). Randle vs Jabari Parker defense. Let’s go.

Jarrett Allen

Had to 2 tough matchups in a row and did not do well. Tonight he gets an excellent matchup in a pace up spot.

VALUE

Derrick Favors

DK play only tonight. Price is down and gets an elite matchup in a fast paced game. Minutes have trended up a bit, so could see 20-25 tonight.

CENTERS

Cody Zeller

Washington is out tonight opening up more minutes for the Hornets tonight. Zeller and Biyombo are in good spots as well as Marvin Williams.

VALUE

Frank Kaminsky

Going back to Frank the Tank tonight.

JaValle McGee & Dwight Howard

No Davis, so these 2 should see an increase in minutes. Both are good FPPM plays so more minutes equals more FPs.

RISK/REWARD PLAYS
Bobby Portis

High usage off the bench in pace up spot.

Wilson Chandler

Played close to 20 minutes last game. Dirt cheap and excellent matchup.
