Alright 9 game slate on a Friday. Lets GO!! Listed in this article are my favorite players tonight. These are the players I think have the best chance of hitting value + tonight.
*Injuries/suspensions*Marvin Bagley is out this opens up value for the Kings: Opens up more minutes for Dedmon and Bjelica.
*DeAndre Ayton is suspended and this opens up some value for the Suns: Baynes is starting and opens up more minutes for Frank Kaminsky.
*Enes Kanter is out this opens up value for the Celtics: Opens up more minutes for Daniel Theis & Williams.
*Cody Zeller is out tonight. This will allow more minutes for PJ Washington. Also Biyombo and HernanGomez should get more minutes.
POINT GUARDS
Kyrie Irving
First game of the year Irving out on a show for the Nets fans dropping 50 pts along with 8 rebounds and 7 assists. He gets another good matchup at home vs the Knicks tonight. Still underpriced for his upside, especially against the Knicks who have no one to guard him.
Damian Lillard
Played very well in his first game dropping 32 points along with 9 rebounds (51 DK pts). Lillard has the potential to put up 30+ real points just about any night and could easily do so against a team like the Kings who run fast and cant guard the PG position.
Ricky Rubio
Rubio is on a new team this year and played 30 minutes and put up a solid stat line (11pts, 6 rebounds. 11 assists and 4 steals). We could see similar minutes tonight for Rubio in order for the Suns to keep up with the Nuggets tonight. At 5.6K on DK he should have no problem at least hitting value.
Elfrid Payton
Payton is one of my favorite plays that should go under the radar tonight due to him not starting. He is a volatile player that has triple double upside to go along with some decent defensive stats. Could see him in a similar role tonight getting around 25-28 minutes as he played the minutes towards the end of the game against the Spurs. OH and he gets some Kyrie defense tonight, so can see a nice game from him.
SHOOTING GUARDS
Luka Doncic
Doncic picked up right where he left off last year basically doing what he wants each night. Dropped 34 points, 9 rebounds and a few assists and steals. Price is still good for what this kid can do. so going to play him vs the Pelicans in a pace up game.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
SGA took 23 shots and played 37 minutes last game vs the Jazz and put up 26 real points. This Jazz are much tougher matchup than the Wizards and we could see another big game from SGA.
Jalen Brunson
Played 21 minutes in a close game vs the Wizards and could see similar action tonight. Decent matchup and his price went down $400.
Kent Bazemore
Bazemore had an off game in his first appearance as a Nugget shooting 1-7, but he played 25 minutes and put up 16 FPS. In a much better spot tonight vs the Kings and should have himself a good game and he is only 3.7K
SMALL FORWARDS
Gordan Hayward
Hayward looked more like his days on the Jazz as he took 15 shots, got to the line 11 times and grabbed some boards and dished out a few assists. He is playing with more confidence and the Celtics need him to continue to do so if they want to win games this year. We could see a similar game on the scoring end with a few more rebounds and assists tonight. 40+ FPS from Hayward tonight.
Kelly Oubre
Oubre had a nice game vs the Kings scoring 21 pts and grabbing 9 rebounds. They will need him to step it up a bit tonight with the absence of DeAndre Ayton. A bit tougher matchup vs the Nuggets, but can still see him hitting value + tonight at his price.
Joe Ingles
Ingles did not start last game but came off the bench and still played 33 minutes. He is a good 3 point shooter and should get off a lot of shots vs the Lakers tonight. Can also add some boards and assists along with steals in this pace up game.
POWER FORWARDS
Danillo GallinariÂ
Played well and him and SGA kept the Thunder in the game vs the Jazz the other night. Scored 21 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Gallo is not afraid to shoot and should have many opportunities vs the fast paced Wizards tonight.
Taurean Prince
Prince has a big game vs the Wolves in his first game as a Net putting up a double/double (15/11)/ He played 41 minute with a few coming from OT and should see well over 30 tonight against the Knicks.
Bobby Portis
Portis is a volitile player, but when he gets going he can drop 40+ FPS on any night. Priced right around 5K against a Nets team that allowed 90 FPS to opposing centers last game and got crushed by them all last year. Sing me up for some Bobby tonight!
Nemanja Bjelica
Bjelica is getting the start tonight in place and Bagley and should be a popular option for good reason. He is only 3.6K and should play 25-30 minutes and has double/double upside.
Daniel Theis and Robert WilliamsÂ
These 2 should pick up some additional minutes tonight and both are dirt cheap. I can see both easily hitting value and prefer Theis by a slight edge.
CENTER
Nikola Jokic
Jokic put up 20 pts and 13 in just 24 minutes in the first game. He got into fouls trouble early which limited his minutes. He is a FPPM beast putting up 1.61 per minute last year. Excellent matchup vs the Suns tonight so we should see a big game out of Jokic.
Karl-Anthony Townes
Plays a ton of minutes and gets a nice matchup vs the Hornets. Should be popular after last game. Pivot to Jokic for less ownership, but can see KAT hitting value as well.
Jarrett Allen
Allen played 36 minutes last game and some came in over time. Could be a good sign that he will continue to play 30+ minutes. Nice matchup vs the Knicks and Allen has double/double upside each night.
Dewayne Dedmon
Dedmon only played 13 minutes, but should see a bump tonight with Bagley out. He possesses double/double upside each night, especially if he gets 20 plus minutes.
Aaron Baynes & Frank Kaminsky
The Suns will be with out Ayton tonight and they have already listed Baynes as the starter. Both are priced in the low 3K range and should have no problem hitting value. Kaminsky will get his shots off and grab some boards and Baynes has the double/double upside even if he plays 20 minutes.
