The Staff
Lucchesi – Still target San Fran with lefties. Looch struck out 7 in 5.1 innings against this club in his first start of the season. He was pulled early in that start so he should go a little deeper in tonight’s game.Â
(Risk factor 4)Â
Peralta – He absolutely dominated Cincy in his last start, striking out 11 in 8 innings. Peralta has dynamic strikeout stuff and the Angels lineup, aside from Trout has a ton of k upside.Â
(Risk factor 4)
Minor – This play is a bit of a risk, but Minor looked great in his last start against Houston. Arizona doesn’t have a ton of guys who can really hit lefties hard aside from Jones and Christian Walker has struggled against lefties so far this year. Minor should be able to limit damage tonight and have the backing of his bats in this matchup. He also gets a bump with no DH as well.
(Risk factor 6)
The BatsÂ
Texas – Greinke looks off leaving pitches too much in the zone. Texas will send out a ton of lefty power tonight, and I fully expect Gallo to send one into the pool.Â
(Lefties)
Seattle – Don’t her me wrong, I really like Junis but Seattle is just too damn hot right now. 3-4-5 hitters combined for 4 homers last night and I doubt Junis is the guys to quiet those bats.Â
(1-9)
Baltimore – They’re stringing hits together and have been extremely pesky at the plate for opposing pitchers. Baltimore has 7 right handed hitters tonight with 1-4 my favorites.Â
Mets – Gibson is a trashcan and 1-4 play ducks on the pond. Conforto has been on fire as well as Alonso.Â
