Week 7 Thursday Night Football Preview

Quarterbacks

Josh Rosen — I certainly hope that most teams aren’t starting Rosen tonight. The Broncos defense has a lot to prove after two awful weeks, and I think they sack Rosen about five or six times on Thursday. Rosen will get about 210 yards and a TD if he is lucky, as the way to beat the Broncos is on the ground.

Case Keenum — Arizona is traditionally stingy against the pass, and Keenum is not one to take advantage of too many matchups. Look for him to be relatively conservative throwing short passes to Emmanuel Sanders and Phillip Lindsay out of the backfield. Keenum should be good for about 250 yards and a TD.

Running Backs

David Johnson — The Broncos have let up two 200-yard rushers in the past two games as their interior defense has been gashed. I would be shocked to see Johnson not get 20-25 carries in this game. If he does get the carries, 100+ rushing yards should be a relative lock, and I expect him to score a TD as well.
