My thoughts:
On FanDuel today it’s pretty clear we are going to pay up for Pitching. I am not going to roll with Kershaw in Coors tonight, not so much that I want Rockies bats as much as I just don’t like using him there and in Arizona. Nola against a Mets team coming back across country is the top play by a mile tonight. He’s going to deal in my mind. Snell at home versus Baltimore is 1b, you have to have one of these guys if playing cash or on DraftKings tonight. Tanaka makes for a lower owned late night hammer play to pivot off those other two guys in tournaments.
My DK Sp2 choice is very dicey today though. If I am locking in Nola/Snell as the SP1 my first thought is to look cheap but there’s nobody down there I trust to pitch deep or well. So my preferred arms are between Dylan Bundy (against a Tampa team who has hit him well) or Chris Archer/Chase Anderson both of whom are priced slightly higher than I would like. Anderson becomes the top guy for me against the Giants instead of Archer against the Marlins at higher ownership.
Wanna go weird with a longshot? Heath Fillmyer and not just game log watching here but …………. 13 IP and 100+ pitches in the last two starts giving up 3 total ER to the Os and Indians. Those were both at home and he has shown to be better in Kauffman stadium, but the price is dirt cheap and I suspect the Twins remain fairly quiet tonight offensively.
STACKS
- Indians

- Pirates
- Astros
- Royals
- Diamondbacks/Braves
My Thoughts:
The Indians in Toronto is a good spot for them, nice ballpark and they get Marco Estrada. That’s your chalk team by a mile tonight as folks will be shy about using Coors field. I would get exposure to each of the top three teams Indians/Brewers/Cardinals as they all are in prime spots tonight based on the opposing starter and ballpark in the case of the Indians and Brewers. But a core pivot for me tonight has to be the Houston Astros going into Fenway park. Fantastic park shift for a team who has MURDERED Boston pitching. How much Bregman is too much Bregman? Thank you.
My favorite plays of the night also will include Royals going into Target Field and of course, more Braves in Chase Field.
