DraftKings has a 2pm early slate with 4 games on it and FanDuel has a 4pm early slate with five games on it.  Obviously there are some overlap games to evaluate with them, so lets break down the hitters that I like for each game first.

DRAFTKINGS EARLY RANKINGS (2PM)

TOP PITCHERS

  1. Zach Wheeler … Wheeler and Pivetta are the top cash arms on this slate, I would lock both of them in or pivot Pivetta down to Castillo in tournaments.
  2. Nick Pivetta … See above, he would be the guy I would pivot today in a spot where I think Toronto puts up some runs

TOP VALUE

  1. Andrew Suarez … Definitely a longshot play as well, but if punting for PT/$ Suarez is the guy to bounce back at home.  And by bounce back I mean he won’t get -10.

LONGSHOT

  1. Luis Castillo … Tournament pivot, not as solid on the road and Baez is hot right now plus other Cubs grade out well for me today against him.

 

TEAMS RANKED FOR OFFENSE

  1. Phillies/Blue Jays … I like this game for the most offense with two guys who can give up the long ball starting and the Phils should bounce back and take this game today.  High scoring game in my mind.
  2. Cubs/Reds … Good weather here but I have it below the Phils/Jays game on the DK slate.   Get Schwarber and Suarez as one offs at a minimum

  2. Ryan Yarbrough (Huge Salary savings, but we dont really need it)
  3. Zack Wheeler
