Approaching the late hours of the night (or early hours of the morning), it appeared to be Lou’s tournament to lose. He had a pretty significant lead on all competitors and was breezing through the last few innings.

Drama ramped up as Fuego Steve began to move up the leaderboard. With two outs, Oakland’s Jed Lowrie stepped to the plate in the top of the 9th inning. Just one more out and the qualifier would belong to Lou.

Instead, Lowrie smashed a long ball over the outfield fences, catapulting Fuego Steve into first place of the tournament. A tough break for Lou but two of our experts at the top of the leaderboard is something you should probably get used to seeing across the DFS industry.

Fuego takes home $5,000, a $50K single game contest ticket and of course, a ticket to the WFBC Live Final which has a total prize pool of $1.5 million. And for his troubles, Jaguar Lou still walks away with $500 in this contest and for the night, he won $800 total plus another WFBC qualifier ticket.
