Yandy Diaz in cleanup spot and 2K on FanDuel = Free Square
I’m now leaning more so on a Yankee 1-2-3 stack with JRam being OUT for Cleveland. Other than Diaz I don’t think I’m going to stack there with E5 out and JRam out.
Jose Iglesias is a nice punt at as with Stewart struggled against righties in the minors.
Sale will be held to under 100 pitches so I think you can fade him.
Also starting to like Tyler Austin cheap (I know I said to play Boyd, Austin should be only worry) as well as Evan Gattis. ADD SANO TO MINNESOTA AS WELL. BOYD COULD GET HIT A BIT FROM THE TOP OF THE LINEUP THERE, SO IM MOVING OFF HIM
PITCHING
Carrasco – I always like Carrasco on the road where he holds a .278 ERA and a 28.1% k rate. He has dominated this White Sox team in their ballpark over the past 2 years striking out 28 batters in 24 innings, while allowing just 1 run. (Risk factor 3)
Thor – Marlins lineup is complete trash. A rookie leading off, Bour gone and No Realmuto. This could get ugly for Miami, plus he’s priced down. I fully expect double digit strikeouts. (Risk factor 2)
Boyd – He’s better at home with a 2.93 ERA. He’s owns a career 3.69 ERA and .184 average at home against Minnesota and just a 30.8% hard contact this year against them. (Risk factor 5)
Castillo – He gets Arizona at home where he’s been nasty his last 3 starts. In those starts he’s gone 19 innings, striking out 20 and allowing just 2 earned runs. Arizona it hitting just .231 with 3 home runs over the past 7 days against RHP. (Risk factor 4)
Chen – This is my guy at home. Now, with the lineup Miami put out I HIGHLY DOUBT he gets a win, so they’re already putting him against the wall. In his last 5 home starts (STL, ATL, PHILLY, TB, ARI) he’s gone 29.1 innings, struck out 26, 5 earned runs and a 0.88 whip. Not to mention since July 29th, New York is dead last against LHP hitting just .141 and 2 home runs.
Glasnow – I rode this guy last start at less than 2% ownership where he completely dominated Baltimore. Toronto is a very similar team with a lot of free swingers, and guys who strike out a lot. Glasnow topped his fastball at 99 or higher several times in that start. ONLY PROBLEM is we don’t really have a pitch count on him. So, if he gets in trouble he could get yanked early. (Risk factor 5 based on Pitch count)
STACKS
Boston – This is the obvious play today, but Cobb is 1-9 in day games with a 6.88 ERA and has given up 13 home runs. I think you’ll need some part of this team to win today. They’re putting up football scores and seeing everything thrown at them.
St. Louis – This team is starting to heat up and they should punish Junis today. Carp will hit one today, and I think this is the start is Ozuna’s end of the year run. Dejong is heating up as well.
Atlanta lefties – Chase Anderson in the Atlanta humidity and heat for the first time in his career. Love the top 4 in the lineup today.
Texas – Sabathia has been hammered by this team over in 2016 and this year (didn’t see them in 2017) giving up 16 earned runs in 17 innings pitched. Odor – Profar – Gallo – Beltre
Cleveland lefties – Covey 6.00 era in day games and gives up a .304 average to lefties at home. Not to mention he’s given up 8 earned runs, a .313 average and 4.41 era against Cleveland in 2018. Yandy is back up with the club and min price on FanDuel. If he starts, play him
