Quarterbacks
Joe Burrow ($7,200) vs. TEN
Burrow is coming off his best half of football this year, throwing 4 TD passes against the Ravens in the second half last week. He’s hit 4 TD passes in two straight games, and one of those was against Miami, another team that’s very similar to the Titans in many ways. That did not stop Burrow from throwing. The Titans haven’t faced a murderer’s row of QBs this year, but Jalen Hurts had 264-2, Lamar had 222 and 2, and Deshaun Watson managed 308 yards and a rushing score last week.
Trevor Lawrence ($6,600) vs. IND
Indy is in the midst of a fire sale, having offloaded star D-lineman DeForest Buckner and franchise cornerstone guard Quenton Nelson earlier this week. Buckner led the team in sacks, and Nelson was their best offensive lineman. So Lawrence should have a cleaner pocket, plus it’ll be harder for the Colts offense to run it and play ball control without Nelson (and maybe JT as well?). The matchup is excellent, as Indy is bottom third of the league against QBs but drops even further when you dig into their opposing QB schedule. The trio of Athan Kaliakmanis, Cam Ward, and Kyler Murray averaged 167 combo yards and totaled 3 TDs. The remaining trio of Lamar, Mahomes, and Rodgers averaged 335 combo yards and totaled 8 TDs. T-Law is closer to the latter trio, plus he has multiple touchdowns in five straight games against the Colts.
Geno Smith ($5,500) vs. LV
Revenge game! Geno has played much better in New York than he ever did in Vegas. Geno had thrown for more than 240 yards just four times all 2025. He’s matched that total through just seven weeks with the Jets. Every quarterback to face the Raiders scored at least 18 Fanball points, which would pay off Geno’s $5,500 price tag, except for Justin Herbert, and that Chargers offense is non-functional. Overall, Vegas is the 5th-worst D against opposing fantasy QBs. Geno might have his full arsenal of weapons as well. Breece Hall is expected back, Braelon Allen has been balling, and rookie 1st-rounder Omar Cooper has back-to-back games with 100+ yards and a TD. The floor is solid, and the ceiling is higher than expected, with Wilson, Cooper, and Sadiq all capable of explosive plays.
Justin Herbert ($5,300) @ LAR
This is, admittedly, a bit of an insane play. Herbert hasn’t thrown for more than 1 TD pass in any game this year, and his team isn’t getting it done offensively for a myriad of reasons. But his rushing totals have been 50, 54 and 26 going into the bye, and the Rams have allowed the second-most rushing yards to the QB position so far this year. They had a bye week last week, in which the Chargers said they tried to simplify the offense, and both Tre Harris and Ladd McConkey look like they’re coming back from injury. Game script should favor the ball being in Air Bear’s hands all day long.
Running Backs
Kyren Williams ($7,600) vs. LAC
Kyren easily managed another 121 combo yards and a score last week in Vegas, and he was splitting time with Blake Corum and still had 18 touches. He’s had one dud this year, and it was that Arizona game two weeks ago. I find it hard to believe that this will be a second dud. The Chargers have allowed the fifth-most rushing attempts this year, at around 25 per game. They’re also bottom 6 in rushing yards and touchdowns allowed to opposing backs. With a bunch of injuries in their receiving game, it seems likely that this is another run-heavy game plan for the Rams.
Javonte Williams ($6,800) vs. ARI
Similar to a couple of main slates earlier this season, we have two games that stick out high above the rest when it comes to game totals. Cardinals-Cowboys is tied for the highest total at 54.5, a full 8 points higher than the next-closest total. Javonte leads the league in rushing attempts inside the 5-yard line with 14 and turned half of those carries into scores. That’s great news when you’re a heavy home favorite against a Cardinals team that’s given up a league-worst 29.7 PPG, a full 1.6 points worse than the next-worst team. Williams has scored at least one TD in five straight games and has virtually zero competition in the backfield, as 5th-year UDFA Tyler Goodson is the only other running back on the active roster. As the Cardinals are often trailing, it makes sense that they allow the 4th-most carries and rushing yards to enemy backs. This isn’t a troubling matchup.
Rhamondre Stevenson ($6,000) @ MIA
We spoke last week about how Miami’s defense is a big-time run funnel, as they’re 2nd-best defending WRs but 2nd-worst against enemy backs. They’re bottom 5 in touches, combo yards, and combo TDs allowed. TreVeyon Henderson is basically a footnote at this point, having not topped 24% of snaps since Week 4 and only out-touching 3rd-string RB Corey Kiner 5-4 in Week 7, leaving Rhamondre nearly all the pass-game and goal line work, as he’s scored on 2 of his 3 carries inside the 5 this year. No other Patriots running back has a carry or target in that area. Stevenson dominated this Dolphins defense twice last year: 16 touches for 142 combo yards, and then 152 combo yards and 3 TDs in Week 18.
Rico Dowdle ($5,100) vs. CLE
Dowdle has been back for two weeks now, and while Jaylen Warren is still 1A, Dowdle has worked his way back into a decent spot. Warren had 21 touches last week, and Dowdle came up with 15, on 9 rushes and 6 receptions. He put that together for 86 combo yards. The Browns defense is allowing 4.8 yards per carry, the fifth-worst mark in the league. Dowdle didn’t play in the Week 4 meeting, but Warren saw 20 touches that day and was basically the only thing that was working really well for A-Rodg and the offense. Remember that the Steelers are coming back from a Europe game last week, and the game plan out in Paris was to use the runners copiously. I think that’s their bit as long as both are healthy.
Wide Receivers
Zay Flowers ($7,500) @ BUF
Sounds like Lamar is finally coming back. On Wednesday, he got in his first full practice since suffering the high-ankle sprain. However, even without Lamar, Zay has been excellent, powering an offense that is 6th in yards per play this season despite Tyler Huntley playing half the games. Just last week, Zay finished as the overall WR2. He’s averaging over 10 targets per game over his last four. Now he gets literally the best matchup in the league against a Bills WR D that has allowed the most TDs to the position. Additionally, Buffalo has allowed SIX different weekly Top 10 WR finishes this season, including a Top 8 weekly finish to every opponent’s No. 1 WR except for the Chargers. Similar to a few weeks this DFS season, Ravens-Bills has the highest total on the week at 54.5, 8 points clear of the next-highest game on the main slate.
Tee Higgins ($7,000) vs. TEN
The best fantasy receiver in Cincinnati is not Ja’Marr Chase, it’s Tee Higgins, who is averaging more targets, more receptions and about 40 more yards per game than Chase right now. Chase has more touchdowns, and that’s keeping him close, but Tee has the title right now. Tee scored last week and generally gets the weaker cover corner, and the Titans already don’t have very good ones. He’ll line up most often with Marcus Harris and backup Joshua Williams. The Titans have already allowed the third-most receptions and fourth-most yards to the wide receiver position this year. Plus, you get about a $900 savings on Chase.
Stefon Diggs ($5,100) vs. PHI
With Terry McLaurin on IR, that leaves Antonio Williams and Treylon Burks as the other options besides Diggs. Now, he didn’t practice Wednesday, and they said that was planned. He did practice Thursday, which is encouraging. Confirm his final game status before locking him in. Diggs is the highest-targeted player on the Commanders at 7.6 per game, and they lost about 6 targets per game with McLaurin, and that has to go somewhere. Plus, Jayden Daniels has looked pretty solid since returning. He threw for 300 yards and 2 scores in the game against the Niners before the bye. And the Eagles have been bad against WRs, allowing the eighth-most receiving yards to the position.
Antonio Williams ($3,800) vs. PHI
With Terry McLaurin on IR, Antonio Williams can fill a big void in the offense. Even before Terry’s injury, the 3rd-round rookie’s playing time was ramping up, and it culminated in him leading Washington’s WR room in Week 7 snaps. He has had three catches in three straight games and now gets a strangely elite matchup against a Philly pass D that’s allowed the 4th-most catches, 2nd-most yards, and 3rd-most touchdowns. Williams is Washington’s primary slot player, meaning he’ll see a lot of Cooper DeJean. You might think that’s bad, but DeJean’s not having a great year, as he’s already given up four touchdowns in his coverage. Oh, and Williams already hit the Eagles for 4-64-1 in Week 1.
Tight Ends
Kyle Pitts ($4,900) @ TB
So, Pitts has scored 4 touchdowns in the last 3 games and had exactly 5 receptions in each of those weeks. Maybe Pitts finally sat down and had breakfast with Michael Penix. The yardage totals still haven’t been great, but the volume and red zone targets have been much better, and he’s leading the team with 6 RZ targets over the last 3 weeks. And the Bucs are a perfect matchup for exactly this. They’ve allowed the 8th-most receiving touchdowns to the tight end position on the year, including one 50-yarder last week to Darren Waller and one the week before to Darnell Washington.
Dallas Goedert ($4,300) @ WAS
Philly is likely to be without DeVonta Smith again with the hamstring injury. Goedert has taken advantage recently, with 17 catches on 22 targets in his past three games. He hasn’t scored in that stretch despite leading the team in target share in two of the three weeks. Now he faces Washington’s 31st-ranked TE defense, a unit that’s already permitted five double-digit Fanball TE performances and the 2nd-most TDs to the position, despite having already had their bye! The Eagles’ TE1 already scorched this Commanders D in Week 1 to the tune of 4-77-2.
Mason Taylor ($3,700) vs. LV
I was pretty psyched to get this right last week, and he’s a great play again this week. What we know: he’s leading in snap share by basically a 2:1 margin over Kenyon Sadiq right now. In the last two weeks, he’s seen 4 red zone targets, and no other player on the roster has more than 2. The Raiders are in town this week, and they allow the second-most receptions and the third-most touchdowns to opposing tight ends. Three different tight ends have already had multiple-touchdown efforts against the Raiders this year.
Colby Parkinson ($3,500) vs. LAC
Last week in this spot, I said Rams TE. Credit to Trevor, who I believe had two-touchdown Mason Taylor in this spot. Great work. Technically, I talked up Tyler Higbee and Parkinson and proceeded to watch TE3 Davis Allen stuff two TDs in my face. However, Parkinson still saw nearly 70% of the snaps despite missing some plays due to a minor injury (all three of the Rams TEs saw at least 69%) and led the TE room in targets, catches, and yards. In LA’s first game without Davante Adams, tight end targets accounted for nearly 50% of Stafford’s dropbacks. The Chargers are technically a Top 10 defense against the position, but the Rams’ target tree is so condensed right now that the ball is either going to Puka, Kyren, or a TE.
Sleepers
Blake Corum, RB ($5,300) vs. LAC
There was a time when it seemed like Blake Corum had fallen out of favor, and it seems like that’s changed in the past few weeks. Touch totals have gone from 22-8 in favor of Kyren three weeks ago, to 13-11 two weeks ago, to 18-18 last week in a blowout win against the Raiders. Snap count went 37-32 in favor of Kyren last week, so it’s pretty close to an even split now. And it should be a blowout win against the Chargers. I mentioned that I liked Kyren too, and I wouldn’t mind starting both in some lineups this week. BTW, Corum is $1 in the 5×5. The Chargers are seeing almost 30 RB touches per game. Give me 14-15 touches for Corum at $5,300, and I’ll show you some nice fantasy points.
Germie Bernard, WR ($4,400) vs. CLE
The one time I recommended Bernard was Week 6, and he went off for 11-87-1. However, he fell back to Earth in France last week with just three catches for 27 yards. The opportunity and role are still very good, as Pittsburgh remains without Michael Pittman and Roman Wilson, plus Bernard is locked in as the Steelers’ WR2, having cleared 90% of snaps in three straight games. As the main slot, the Alabama rookie also gets the most favorable matchup of the WRs, as he’ll primarily avoid Cleveland’s excellent outside corner duo of Denzel Ward and Tyson Campbell.
