Week 4 Circa Survivor Contest: Tie Between Dallas and Green Bay Delivers Shocking Knockout Blow
In Week 4, favorites once again finished with the sizable edge. The slate, which commenced with a Seahawks win over the Cardinals on Thursday, witnessed favorites go 10-5-1 Straight-up (SU), highlighted by a shocking tie between the Cowboys and Packers – which left several hundred contestants in utter disbelief.

The 478 contestants (3.5%), who backed Josh Jacobs and the Packers, were left in dismay when Green Bay played conservative opting for a 40-40 tie on a last second field goal by Brandon McManus.

Meanwhile, 784 entries made the Chargers the sixth most-chosen selection (5.7%) to beat the previously winless Giants on the road. Despite being 6.5-point road favorites, Los Angeles was upset by Jaxson Dart and Big Blue in his first career NFL start.

Circa Survivor, which drew a record-breaking $18,718,000 prize pool this year, does require the need to cover any point spread. However, simply picking the winner has thus far proven elusive for 6,314 contestants who will have to wait til next year.

A total of 1,407 of the entries were prohibited from advancing to Week 5, leaving a grand total of 12,404 with dreams of making a life-changing score.
Overall favorites in Week 4 finished with a 9-7 Against The Spread (ATS) mark. Overall, favorites hold a sizable 44-17-1 SU (2 pick-ems) & 33-29 ATS (53.2%) edge. Home teams hold a 37-24-1 SU advantage with 2 neutral-site International games, while also owning the more coveted 33-29 ATS edge. Meanwhile, Those who invested in higher scoring games than the oddsmakers were predicting thrived in Week 4 are overs cashed in 10 of 16 games, with a 32-32 mark.
The Circa Survivor contest is a grueling contest which forces entrants to pick one winner every week, with no spread with one pivotal caveat. Entrants CAN NOT use the same team more than once during the course of the season. Circa Survivor, which requires a $1,000 entry fee, will once again be a massive sweat for those who run deep into the season due to the massive winner-take-all prize pool.
In an early look-ahead to Week 5 it is expected that: Arizona (-9.5) vs Tennessee, Detroit (-8.5) at Cincinnati, Buffalo (-7.5) vs New England and Indianapolis (-7) vs Las Vegas – will be among the most heavily chosen teams in the contest.
