Emil Kadlec One-From-Each Playoff Challenge

This is a FREE-to-play NFL Playoffs contest and we’ve increased the prizes this year. Just select a roster of players, with no more than one player per NFL team. That’s it!

Before you head on over to PlayFFWC to enter, we have important information to share with you.

As many of you already know, Emil Kadlec is a co-founder here at the FFWC. We wouldn’t be here today, without Emil. That’s right, the FFWC would not exist! He gave us the courage to create and bring the Fantasy Football World Championships to life and our live events to Las Vegas and here we are, about to begin our 12th season!

Emil even co-founded the “original” WCOFF many years ago, manages FootballDiehards.com and publishes many fantasy magazines you see on the shelves over the last few decades.

This September, Emil was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He subsequently learned it is at stage 4 and has spread to his liver. Emil has been undergoing chemotherapy the last four months and is no longer able to do his day to day work. As such, he’s stepping away to focus on his treatment and his family.

Along those lines, with all the uncertainty ahead, the one thing weighing most heavily on Emil is the impact all this will have on his family. Nothing is more important to him.

Emil is determined to do everything he can to help secure their future — including selling his business.

Beyond that, Emil is grateful for your support and connection, whether you’re somebody who has enjoyed his work or benefited from his innovations in the fantasy football space. RULES

You will be able to select your roster now with a deadline of Saturday afternoon around 4:30pm eastern, January 13, 2024. (Kickoff of the 1st playoff game)
Pick your fantasy team (2 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 4 FLEX (rb, wr, or te), 1 TK, 1 DST)
14 roster spots, one for each of the 14 NFL Playoff teams.
This team is the same throughout the playoffs. No waivers or changes. This is commonly referred to as BestBall format. Set it and forget it.
No salary cap.
No more than one player per NFL team. Example: If you select Pat Mahomes, you cannot also roster Travis Kelce.
