The Cycle

The Staff

Bauer – The first real narrative of 2019. Bauer accuser Houston of doctoring balls last year which led to a twitter battle. He’s one of the guys who pitches with a lot of emotion, so get ready for a huge game from the right hander. Houston has been hot recently, but Bauer has double digit k upside every start no matter what.

(Risk factor 5)

Nola – He’s still pretty cheap on FanDuel. It looks like he’s turning things around after his last start in Colorado striking out nine, in 5 2/3 innings while Picking up the win. Miami’s lineup is not very good, And they don’t have a lot of power in the lineup to hurt Nola.

( Risk factor 4)

Smith – He’s Been outstanding in his last three starts, with three straight quality starts, 2 wins and 21 strikeouts. We just saw Jason Vargas give the same Phillies lineup a tough time last night, and it’s safe to say Smith is a much better pitcher than him.

(Risk factor 5)

The Bats

Boston – Zimmerman has given up 14 earned runs in his last 3 starts. It looks like Boston is starting to break Out of there early season slump and should be able to take advantage of Zimmerman leaving pitches over the plate.

(1-9)

Yankees – This team, even through all of their injuries are scrapping out wins in impressive ways. Cahill has struggled with giving up a lot of runs, and probably gives up a 3 run to Torres.

(Voit, Torres, Sanchez, Gardner)

Detroit– Porcello is overrated, and has struggled with his control this year. Detroit doesn’t have a ton of power in their lineup, but they can double the hell out of a pitcher.
