First Sunday in a while we actually get a decent slate with 6 games on the main and another 3 games for early. This is a James Harden slate, so once again I will give options for both playing him or fading him. Last game he faced a Raptors team that had Kawhi and Danny Green guarding him, so he was worthy of fading. Tonight he gets to face a Magic team with no one to guard him, but Chris Paul could be back tonight in a limited minutes.
*This article will focus on the main slate, which starts at 7pm.
*OKC/MIL game starts at 6pm and listed in the FD slate. The only players from this game I would have interest in would be Westbrook, George & Giannis.
Questionable/What If
Kyle Kuzma- Kuzma listed as questionable. Ingram picks up the highest usage with Stephenson & Beasley coming in right behind. Beasley is a risky play, but could be looked at as a low ownership/high upside play.
Ayton/Holmes- Holmes and Ayton are both questionable and if one sits the other becomes the play. If both sit then we can look at Josh Jackson, Dragan Bender.
Derrick Rose- If Rose sits then Bayless and Wiggins becomes excellent plays. KAT is in play either way.
**Update- Rose is out, so Bayless is a lock. Wiggins strong consideration. KAT looked already.
*DeRozen is out. Aldridge in a very good spot.Rudy Gay is play as well. Also, like Marco Belinelli a lot. Mills should see more time.
Point Guard
Kyle Lowry- one spot you can attack the Mavs is the PG position. Lowry price is reasonable and he has been solid on rebounds/assists. He gets more shots up tonight, which increases his FPs.
Rajon Rondo- this is a good spot for Rondo. He is the only true PG the Lakers have and in a Excellent matchup. Double digit assists and shots attempts last 2 games.
Thomas Satarasky- Plays over 30 minutes a game and has been very consistent of late. Has shown 50 FP upside a few times this year. You can attack the Spurs at the PG position.
Trey Burke- Mudiay is out and Burke played 39 minutes last game.
Jerryd Bayless- Lock if Rose sits. Still in play if Rose plays.
Shooting Guard
Donovan Mitchell- on Fire right now.
Devin Booker-usage is up with Warren off the floor and even more with Ayton. Good matchup vs the Lakers.
Andrew Wiggins- lots of shots to go up if Rose sits and Wiggins loves to shoot.
Dwayne Wade- solid as of late. Good matchup vs Knicks.
Small Forward
Kawhi Leonard- Playing at an elite level. As hit 50 or more FPs in 4 of his last 5 games.
Kelly Oubre/Josh Jackson- these guys have been getting solid run with Warren out.
Rudy Gay- on a tear as of late. Listed as probable.
Brandan Ingram- Nice matchup vs the Suns. Biggest bump in usage of Kuzma sits.
Power Forward
LeMarcus Aldridge- pace up spot for Aldridge, who has been playing well. Excellent matchup.
Kenneth Faried- Manimal! Faried is a beast and will play him under 6k with 30 plus minutes every night. High energy player.
Aaron Gordon
Noah Vonleh- huge game vs Nets and gets another solid matchup vs Heat tonight.
Center
Karl-Anthony Towns- has done well in all the matchups vs the Jazz this year. Usage up even more if Rose is out again.
DeAndre Ayton- If he plays.
Ivica Zubac- very good matchup. Will have either Zubac or McGee along with Towns on DK.
Risk/Reward Plays
Dion Waiters- solid matchup vs the Knicks. Prior to taking a few days off Waiters has seen 20 plus minutes over the last 3 games(22,26,29). Kid loves to shoot and he should be able to get a lot of shots off vs Knicks. Keep an eye on his status prior to lock.
Marco Belinelli- should have no problem getting shots off vs the Wizards.
JaVale McGee- Excellent GPP If Kuzma sits. High upside in this matchup vs the Suns.
Elie Okobo- minimal price and playing 30 minutes. Worth a look in GPP if you need to pay down.
Tim Hardaway Jr- played 35 and 39 minutes over the last 2 games. His shot has been off, but could get going tonight vs the Heat who have rank 28th vs opposing SGs.
Jeff Green- Playing the minutes but floor is low. Has shown 40+ upside as well. Nice matchup.
