All games will begin at 4:00 AM EST today and all games have nice weather (one game in a dome).
There’s lots of bad pitching on this slate after we had some good one’s on Saturday and every road team is a favorite — on a Sunday? Hmm.. Smells like some upsets.
PITCHING
Seung Won Moon (SK Wyverns)
Bottom line for me is that this game, which features two bad teams, will likely be a popular one for pitching due to it’s lowest total on the slate and both offenses being a little thin. The home dog Seung Won Moon is equally as good as David Buchanan who is very up and down and has a tougher spot dealing with Romak and Choi. Take the home pitcher in a game between two mediocre teams as the Wyverns go for the sweep.
Jae Hak Lee (NC Dinos)
Rumor is the Hanwha Eagles are about to fire their coaches. So we should probably get ready for them to finally adjust and break out, but doing that against the best team in the league might not make sense. No shit this is an obvious spot to go against a chalky but shaky pitcher, but he hasn’t been that bad prior to this season, and given how bad the Eagles are – one should feel safe considering him.
Woo Chan Cha (LG Twins)
We have lots of dicey spots today, so lets take a gamble on one of the hotter teams in the league. That’s right, gimme the Twins lefty against the Kiwoom Heroes winners of five straight in a row.
HITTING
Bears or Dinos, Bears or Dinos?
Da Bears…
At home and drawing a pitcher who struggles with lefties. Which they have a ton of good ones. Jose Miguel Fernandez, Jae Hwan Kim and Joo Hwan Choi are my three or go down to Jae Il Oh from Fernandez.
KT Wiz
I still can’t get over how bad these teams were on Saturday. Short term memory here as Mel Rojas Jr won’t go 0’s again and Kyung Soo Park / Jae Gyun Hwang both look very good in this spot.
