PITCHING
Mikolas – same spot I rostered him when I won my live final seat on a Sunday. Mikolas at home has been money with a 1.65 era and almost a 60% ground ball rate. Anytime we can get him under 9K on FanDuel at home I like to use him. Should have a 35 point floor today. (Risk factor 4)
Urena – Mr. Steve Renner’s South Beach theory here. He’s better at home with a 3.82 era and 51% ground ball rate. He’s also been extremely good so far in July with a 1.69 era and 10k’s in 10.2 innings. (Risk factor 5)
Musgrove – awesome spot for him, considering aside of the top 4 hitters in this lineup today there isn’t much pop. 10K+ strikeout upside. 24% k rate at home and just a 31% flyball rate. (Risk factor 4)
Teheran – he’s pitched well in 2 out of his last 3 home starts. Arizona is hitting a league worst .185 with only 2 home runs over the past 7 days against RHP. (Risk factor 4)
De los Santos – extremely cheap and Miami loses its most powerful bat in their lineup with Bour being out. In his only start, he struck out 6 in 6.1 innings. In the minors he’s posted a 1.89 era, while striking out 87 in 95 innings pitched. (Risk factor 4)
STACKS
KC – Giolito keeps getting hammered by home runs and destroyed at home (8.65 era.
Baltimore – Minor is bad on the road with a 6.31 era and has given up 5 homers to RHB.
Tampa – They been on fire the past week against righties hitting .311 and 10 homers. Bauers is red hot right now and Kiermaier is heating up. Romero has also struggled with lefties giving up 5 home runs.
Toronto/Boston – more of a game stack here. Usual suspects in play at the top of both lineups.
Texas – this just turned into a bullpen game now that Castro is starting. He is good, but there’s no way he goes more than 3 innings. Odor is in the clean up spot which I really like, and Profar hitting in front of him is a good spot at well.
