PITCHING
Bieber – kid has been nasty in his last 3 starts. Over the month of June he’s collected a 0.96 era with 21 k’s in 18.2 innings. Only scare is really moustakas Due to his hard contact to lefties at 51.4%. (Risk factor 4)
Wheeler – he’s struck out at least 7 batters in his last 3 starts and has been tougher on batter on the road. A 25% k rate and a 42% ground ball rate on the road. Pretty risky but if he throws his slider today he can do damage. (Risk factor 6)
Desclafani – reverse splits so far this year with lefties hitting just .191 at home. He’s done well in his last 2 home starts, and if he can limit the hard contact to the righties in this line up he can do very well tonight. (Risk factor 5)
Yarbrough – finally gets a real start and against a Miami team that’s hitting just .140 and 0 home runs over the past week against lefties. Priced way to cheap (Risk factor 4)
STACKS
Philly – they get Cobb at home who owned a 6.90 road era and 8 HR. Both sides of the plate crushing him 1-4 in a great spot.
Atlanta lefties – Germans biggest weakness is home runs, and in Yankee stadium with the Short right pitch against a lefty heavy team YIKES!
Cincy lefties – Giolito struggles against LHB giving up a .284 average and 8 home runs. Schebler is out tonight which will downgrade this stack, but I do like scooter up in the lineup at 2 followed by votto.
Dodgers – these guys just mash. Nova is bad on the road and even worse Against lefties (.322 avg 4 HR). You can pretty much chalk up a home run from Joc jams, muncy or Bellinger. Love the lefties tonight.
Seattle – Cruz against a lefty, sign me up. Heaney owns a 6.14 road era while giving up all 7 of his road home runs to RHB. Segura Cruz Haniger Healy stack.
