PITCHING
Cole – OBVIOUS chalk of the night. Elite strikeout upside, elite matchup. 100% cash game Pitcher. Worthy of a fade in GPP just solely on ownership.
Leake – he’s been a little bit better at home and last 3 starts. Decent k rate at home at just a tad under 17%, while also inducing 45.4% ground balls. Safe floor and considerable savings from Cole (Risk factor 4)
Beeks – dominated lefties in Minors with 29 k’s in 19.2 innings against them. But, struggles with giving up the long ball to righties with 6 HR in 36.2 innings. There’s a possibility of Candelario missing another game tonight, so that will definitely factor in rostering him. He’s cheap, but also very risky. (Risk factor 8)
LONG SHOT RISK
Hess – Fast ball/Slider Guy. Toronto struggles with guys like Hess. 22.6% strikeout rate against his slider, 44.2% o-swing, and 17% swinging strike. (Risk factor 6)
STACKS
Seattle – 2 home runs given up in only 7 innings pitched vs RHB. 55.6% hard contact and a 61.1% flyball rate. Love Segura and Haniger, add in Cruz or Healy and Seager. (Segura Haniger Cruz Healy Seager Dee)
KC – they go completely overlooked tonight. Blackburn was terrible last year at home with a 5.14 era and .301 average. It’s the righties that did the damage hitting 3 home runs and a .321 clip in only 13.1 IP.
(Whit Soler Perez Moose Dozier)
Houston – Houston against a lefty in the Arlington heat. Springer hits a lead off homer and give Cole 8 runs of support. Hamels has given up 10 home runs at home so far this year, 9 of those to RHB.
(All righties in play!)
