NBA GPP Cheat Sheet
Prices listed are Fanduel unless otherwise noted.
My NBA articles will mostly focus on Fanduel lineup construction since besides center, you need to play two at each position. The players recommended are usually still good plays on DraftKings unless the pricing is drastically different. Also, many players on DraftKings have dual position eligibility or may be listed at a different position. I will try to mention if there is a specific good play on DK based on price or position eligibility. The players listed are in no particular order, as sometimes I am giving choices to help build your lineups at all price points.
Point Guard
Russell Westbrook – $11800 – Get him in your lineups on this small slate.
Goran Dragic – $6500 – Should have good matchup versus the Raptors backups with no Kyle Lowry
Shabazz Napier – $4800 – With no Lillard tonight, he will be chalk. It’s good chalk however, probably just pairing him with Westbrook will be popular.
Dennis Smith Jr. – $6100 – Been playing well, can use for different roster construction.
Value/Punt Plays – Napier $4800, Delon Wright $4800, Fred VanVleet $3600
Shooting Guard
CJ McCollum – $7500 – Should have the usage bump with no Lillard. Favorite play at the position.
DeMar Derozen – $9300 – The only issue I have is his price. His usage should be through the roof with no Lowry. I may try to squeeze him and McCollum in.
Wesley Mathews – $5500 – Position is weak tonight, he’s good price.
Value/Punt Plays – Bogdan Bogdanovic $4600, Wayne Ellington $4400, Buddy Hield $4700
Small Forward
Harrison Barnes – $6800 – Favorite play at the position.
Josh Richardson – $5600 – Find him in a lot of my lineups just due to price.
Brandon Ingram – $7000 – Not my favorite, but position is weak as well.
Value/Punt Plays – Maurice Harkless $3500, Evan Turner $4000
Power Forward
Serge Ibaka – $5900 – Good safe option I think and should get slight usage bump.
Aaron Gordon – $8300 – Highest celling at the position.
James Johnson – $5700 – Not safe, but good ceiling. Kelly Olynyk is risky but in play as well.
Don’t mind Kyle Kuzma $5700 or Zach Randolph $5500
Value/Punt Plays – Larry Nance Jr. $4400, Dwight Powell $4400 not loving the value at the position under $5000.
Center
Bismack Biyombo – $5600 – Finding him in most of my lineups. Good matchup versus Dallas and the price is right.
Hassan Whiteside – $7600 – Highest ceiling at the position if he gets the minutes.
Jonas Valanciunas – $5500 – His price is going up along with his play.
All centers in the $7100 – $7500 range are viable options.
Value/Punt Plays – None
