Yes, there is still baseball. And yes, we are dominating September Baseball folks!…
PITCHING
Chris Sale … Sale is due for a huge game and has pitched really well versus Tampa this year. His price is down because of recent second half hiccups but good temps today and a nice lineup for him to dominate. He’s #1, by a mile.
Rafael Montero … I prefer bad pitchers at home and Montero to me is a mediocre pitcher, but someone who’s been good lately. He just dominated the Reds two starts ago and has been fairly consistent for his price to give us 5-6 IP. He’s my top pairing with Sale on DK.
Zach Godley … Godley’s gonna go higher than he should in seasonal drafts next year, but that’s just a side note. San Diego has been really bad lately (well, all season) but really bad against right handed pitching is where I was going. Arizona wins this game tonight and Godley pitches well aside from a hiccup vs Wil Myers and Austin Hedges.
Alex Wood … If you are still looking for an SP1, then land on Wood. He’ll pitch good enough tonight against Colorado, but there’s no reason to go him OVER Sale or Godley. With them to be contrarian on DK? Fine, but there’s a couple SP2 arms that are cheaper and better choices.
Sneaky
Jake Junis … KC is gonna win this one today… (Or atleast I’ll keep writing this until the season is over)
FAVORITE STACKS
Arizona … Chacin at home? We play him. Chacin on the road? We murder him.
White Sox … Samardzjia sucks, in all formats. OK, maybe thats a bit harsh, but going back to Chicago where he wasn’t good on either side. Yeah, gimme the Chi-Sox
Philadelphia … The Phillies (outside of Herrera, who thankfully is batting 5th) are just swinging without pressure right now and Nick Williams/Rhys Hoskins combo is about as fun as they come right now. Freddy Galvis should have a decent game tonight.
SNEAKY STACKS
Miami … Ozuna/Stanton both high double dong candidates tonight. Stanton more than Marcell.
NY Mets … I think we see one of those Homer Bailey blowup games tonight.
San Diego … Lots of guys jump out at me for them today for some reason. Godley is good, so this is a hedge stack. Something seems fishy about this game.
