Cole – Obvious chalk matchup for him. Strikeout heavy team, where Cole has double digit in 2 of his last 3 games.
Plutko – He’s been a bit of a reverse splits pitcher in his 3 starts this year, but he’s also striking out righties around 22%. As long as he can make it through the order the first time without an damage (.269 average and 4 homers) he will be fine.
Richards – Relying heavily on his circle change again, which I always say is one of the most devastating pitches in the league. He’s hasn’t allowed more than 1 run in each of his last 4 games while striking out 24 in that span.
The Bats
Atlanta – 2018 road Pivetta gave up a 17.7% HR/FB rate and 1.36 HR/9. In Atlanta in his career he’s striking out just around 16%
White Sox – Anderson hit a huge 3 run homer last night and continues his smash of LHP tonight. Anderson/Abrea/Garcia/McCann
Miami – I think they get a little overlooked tonight. Cooper has been crushing everything, while Anderson matches well against Brault.
Boston – Top of the lineup does it tonight. Betts/Benni/JD
