Paddack – My favorite pitcher tonight by a mile. He gets a weak San Francisco team, a nice park and a team he struck out 7 guys in his first start this season.
Bauer – He’s been tagged recently, but this is the spot where we see Bauer go 8 innings and strikeout double digits.
E. Hernandez – He has above average strikeout stuff with 69 k’s in 48 innings in AAA. St. Louis has struggled over last week as a team against rhp with just a .213 average and 29.9% k rate.
The Bats
Minnesota – riding this wave til they cool off
Yankees RHH – Vargas has been great over his last few starts, but the Yankee righties get him today.
Rockies – Quintana in Coors is a bad mix. Story and Arenado take him deep.
