The Cycle – Tue 5/28

The Staff

Richards – Should have back to back quality starts, but worked his way up with pitches in his last start getting pulled 2 out prior. San Fran is a team that has struggled over the last 7 days hitting just .223 with 0 home runs and 25% k rate.

(Risk factor 4)

Lyles – He’s been on the road this year with 3 quality starts in 4 starts, while averaging 6.6 k’s in those games. He’s gone at least 6 in 3 of his 4 starts, with one of those getting hit by Colorado where he gave up 4 runs and the pen giving up 2 charged to him.

(Risk factor 5)

Samardzija– He looked great in his last start against Atlanta, but has also looked shaky this year as well. Most definitely a GPP pitcher, Shark has k upside tonight against a Miami team with not much power.

(Risk factor 6)

The Bats

Pittsburgh – love the lefties in this spot against Lucas Sims who really got beat up lady year at home giving up a .313 average and 3 homers in 11 innings.

Minnesota – A let down last night, but they should come back to life against Davies who got lit up for 6 runs in his last start. I doubt Davies last 4 innings against this power lineup.

(Sano, Cron, Rosario, Kepler)

Arizona – I hate playing Coors, but Arizona gets Senzatela who’s got absolutely obliterated by Pittsburgh last start. He has allowed 8 homers in 41 innings, with 3 of those coming at home against RHB.
