It is Tuesday with an 8 game slate tonight that starts at 7pm. Trade deadline is set for 3pm this Thursday 2/7, so it is possible that player can be traded prior to lock. Keep an eye on news. The top 3 point totals for tonight are the Raptors/Sixers(228), Hornets/Clipper(226) & Magic/Thunder(224.5).  These 3 games are also slated to run at some of the fastest pace on the night as well. As of now Kyrie Irving (30% usage rate) has already been ruled out opening up more minutes and usage for the Celtics team. Terry Rozier should pic up the start, but most sites have already priced him up.  Derrick Rose is out and Jeff Teague is doubtful and this puts Jerryd Bayeless in play again. He has put up 6 straight games with 30 or more FPs. Also, the Grizzlies are beat up right now and could give some solid value tonight. Temple is doubtful, Anderson & Casspi are out and JaMychal Green & Noah are questionable(both with soreness). Ivan Rabb has put up 20 more FPs in all 3 games he played 20 or more minutes. If both Green and Noah are out then Rabb is a solid value play.

DvP Chart over last 2 weeks.

Over the past 2 weeks the Lakers have been the worst team defensively(on this slate) and they rank dead last vs opposing centers allowing over 70 FPs. Few spots that stand out would be PGs vs Thunder & Blazers, SGs vs the Cavaliers & Knicks, SFs vs Hornets & Heat. PFs vs Lakers, Raptors, Clippers & Cs for Lakers, Thunder and Sixers.

*Celtics will be with out Kyrie Irving and Marcus Morris tonight. Combined they have a 52% usage rate. This opens up a ton of usage. If Williams also sits out then Theis is a lock. Hayward is my next favorite play per value. Brown and Rozier in that order.

CORE

Gordon Hayward

Daniel Theis

Joel Embiid

Domantas Sabonis- ONLY if Turner sits.

POINT GUARD

Russell Westbrook

Westbrook just faced the Magic and dropped 66 FPs  putting up 23 pts, 14 boards and 14 assists.

Damian Lillard

Listing Dame here because I think he gets over looked on this slate. Price is under 9k and has upside to put up 50 FPs tonight.

Mike Conley

Conley is on the trade block and a few offers were made for him today, so keep an eye on his status prior to lock. That being said if he plays Conley is in a good spot against the Wovles where he just put up 50 FPs. Price is better on DK.

Terry Roizer

Kyrie is out again and the Celtics will lean on Rozier as the staring PG.  Rozier has been solid in the strutting lineup and he just played the Cavs a few weeks ago. In that game he posted 48 FPs scoring 23 pts, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Price is up on both sites, but he has a good matchup and solid floor as a starter.

Darren Collison

COllison has been pretty solid as of late posting 33 or more FPs in 3 straight games. Tonight he gets a matchup vs the Lakers, who have been one of the worst teams defensively over the past 2 weeks.

VALUE

Jerryd Bayeless

Bayeless is in play if Teague sits out. 6 straight games exceeding 30 FPs and put up 51 FPs vs the Grizzlies a few games ago.

Shae Gilgeous-Alexander

SGA is playing solid minutes as of late and put up 20 or more FPs in 5 straight games with 3 of those over 30 FPs. Also, earlier in January SGA dropped 28 FPs on the Hornets.

Colin Sexton

The price has fallen to a spot where I can consider Sexton, especially with him taking 13 + shots a night and playing close to 30 minutes. He actually played well vs the Celtics a few weeks ago. Sexton was able to get to the basket fairly easily.

SHOOTING GUARD

Jimmy Butler

Butler has posted 47 or more FPs in 2 of his last 3 games. Right now he is a bit under priced for his upside.

Andrew Wiggins

Wiggins price is down and shots attempts are still up. Went 4-19 vs the Grizzlies he other day and if he hit few extra shots would have hit value. I am expecting him to play a bit better tonight.

Terrance Ross

Ross is coming off a dud with a slight decrease in salary. He is still taking around 15 shots a game and gets a very good maybe the Thunder.

VALUE

Jalen Brown

Brown has been one of he players I look to when Irving sits out. Nice usage bump and has played well in his absence.

Alec Burks

Burks has been solid as of late and just put up 38 FPs vs the Celtics not too long ago. Also, Rodney Hood is out of he mix now, so more minutes/usage for Burks and Clarkson, who is also in play.

Jordan Clarkson

Clarkaon is similar to Burks, but with a higher usage rate off the bench. Good spot and should see a bit extra run tonight with Hood off the team.

Dennis Schroder

3 straight 3 FPs games and one was vs the Magic.

SMALL FORWARD

Paul George

George is Playing at an elite level and worth a look if  you want to pay up.

Kawhi Leonard

Gordon Hayward

Celtics are with out Irving tonight as well as Marcus Morris. This opens up minutes and about 50% usage. Hayward has played well Irving sits out and had taken on a bigger offensive roll. He is one of my locks tonight

VALUE

Moe Harkless & Jake Layman

Small Forward is where you can attack the Heat. Layman has been on fire and Harkless has played well.  Rodney Hood will be joining the Blazers and if he is playing tonight then I will be off these 2. If Hood is ruled out then both are in play.

Jonathan Isaac

Playing very well as of late with 30 or more FPs in 3 of his last 6 game.

Kevin Knox

POWER FORWARD

Blake Griffin

Griffin has been solid as of late and I don’t see anyone on the Knicks stopping him.

Serge Ibaka & Pascal Siakam

These guys have both been playing well and tonight they both get a good matchup as the Sixers are ranked 18th and 28th vs the PF and C respectively. I give a slight bump to Ibaka tonight.

Domantas Sabonis

This is an excellent matchup for who even plays center for the Pacers tonight. Right now Turner is listed as questionable and Sabonis price is down. Great time to play him. Lakers have allowed over 70 FPs to opposing centers(rank dead last over the last 2 weeks). Locked in if Turner sits.

Marvin Williams

VALUE

Larry Nance

Nance has posted back to back double/doubled and 30 + FPs performances. Celtics will have trouble guarding him tonight. Nance gets a bump up if he starts tonight.

Daniel Theis

Last game I was in on Theis with Baynes & Williams out. Tonight. Baynes and Morris are out and Williams is questionable putting Theis solidly in play. Theis could return 8x in this matchup. Locking him in now that Williams is out.

Kelly Olynyk

Olynyk has played 30+ minutes in 2 straight games and posted 30+ FPs in both of them. In play at center as well on DK. Strong consideration for GPP.

CENTER

Joel Embiid

Over the past 8 games Embiid has shown a solid floor of 51 FPs with and upside of 64. This game has a close spread, so we should expect Embiid to play his normal minutes.

Karl-Anthony Towns

Price is under 10k on DK and has 60-70 FPs upside. Gasol go the best of KAT last game, but I see him showing up tonight.

Miles Turner

Listed as questionable right now and in an excellent spot if he plays. Lakers rank dead last vs opposing centers over the last 2 weeks.

VALUE

Boban Marjanovic

Played 17 minutes in 2 straight games. Only 3.5k on DK. Somewhat risky play but worth a look as a low owned high upside play.

RISK/REWARD

Aaron Gordon

Thunder have allowed the 2nd most FPs in this slate over the past 2 weeks. Gordon just posted 40 FPs a few games ago vs the Thunder. Only reason he is listed under risk/reward is due to his volatility.

Stanley Johnson

Ivan Rabb

Loul Deng

Mike Scott
