PITCHING
Snell – dominate at home with a 0.81 era. I rostered this kid in Houston 2 weeks ago where he went 7 innings, allowing just 1 run and striking out 6. Tampa is hot right now and back at .500, so every game is impactful. (Risk factor 5)
Peralta – the kid really doesn’t throw that hard, but damn he can pitch. Righties hitting a ridiculous .029 against him (1-37). There’s some strikeouts to be had here, so plenty of upside. (Risk factor 4)
Foltynewicz – he was a little rusty coming off the DL in his last start walking 4 batters, but I’m sure they fixed his mechanical issues. He’s really good on the road against RHB with just a 30% hard contact and a .178 average. (Risk factor 4)
Straily – Purely a price saver here, although he is better at home and facing a really bad Mets team. He’s also coming off a 5 game suspension, so we’d like to think he’d have a chip on his shoulder. (Risk factor 5)Â
STACKS
Milwaukee – hot Milwaukee team against a bad Harvey. Always take the easy route……(Miller Aguilar Thames Shaw Broxton)
Philly – Gio has been getting hammered over his last 11 innings pitched allowing 4 home runs (1 LHB 3 RHB)Â
Minnesota/CHC- heavy wind blowing to left center around 17 mph. I’m not extremely high on Minnesota but the winds are pretty significant. Game stack with Cubs lefties.Â
