NBA GPP Cheat Sheet
Prices listed are Fanduel unless otherwise noted.
My NBA articles will mostly focus on Fanduel lineup construction since besides center, you need to play two at each position. The players recommended are usually still good plays on DraftKings unless the pricing is drastically different. Also, many players on DraftKings have dual position eligibility or may be listed at a different position. I will try to mention if there is a specific good play on DK based on price or position eligibility. The players listed are in no particular order, as sometimes I am giving choices to help build your lineups at all price points.
Point Guard
Kemba Walker – $8000 – The only problem is he isn’t getting those 40+ point games very often which concerns me. But has good floor and matchup tonight.
Goran Dragic – $6800 – Been playing well, so ride him while he is hot. Price is still under $7000.
Kyle Lowry – $7500 – Good price for the upside and the Bucks giving up a ton of fantasy points to the point guards the last five games.
Eric Bledsoe – $7200 – Been playing very well recently and the Raptors also have been allowing a lot of points to the position. Could pair him with Lowry.
Damian Lillard – $8700 – If you want to pay up for the position I could get behind him. Similar ceiling to Wall for $500 savings.
Also like… Ish Smith, Kris Dunn, Dennis Schroder, Jamal Murray. Deep position tonight.
Value/Punt Plays – Jarrett Jack $4200, Jordan Clarkson $4900
Shooting Guard
Khris Middleton – $7200 – Price has dropped over the past week with no ceiling games recently. Think he could get that ceiling tonight.
Donovan Mitchell – $7500 – Good matchup versus the Denver guards.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope – $5500 – Favorite of the cheaper options. Batum and the Hornets haven’t been great against shooting guards.
Tyreke Evans – $8400 – Like the upside in an up pace game.
Others I like; JJ Redick, Andrew Wiggins, Gary Harris, Devin Booker
There are a lot of places you could go at the position. Very deep tonight.
Value/Punt Plays – Malcolm Brogden $4900, Marco Belinelli $3900
Small Forward
Kawhi Leonard – $8100 – Still priced too low for his ceiling.
Brandon Ingram – $6400
Robert Covington – $6000
The Freak – $11000 – Hasn’t hit his ceiling recently, which means it could happen any day now. Did put up 57 last game.
Otto Porter – $6800 – Like the ceiling
Value/Punt Plays – Reggie Bullock $4500, Denzel Valentine $4500, MKG $4600
Power Forward
Serge Ibaka – $5900 – Been paying down recently at the position. Think I am again tonight. Ibaka is a good start
Derrick Favors – $6400 – Good matchup versus the Nuggets.
Tobias Harris – $6200 – The Harris whisperer has spoken.
Ersan Ilyasova – $5900 – Has had some very good game logs recently. Good floor.
Also like… Jayson Tatum, Dario Saric, Nikola Mirotic, Kyle Kuzma
Value/Punt Plays – Frank Kaminsky $4500, Markieff Morris $4900
Center
Joel Embid – $10500 – Highest upside at the position. IF he plays, always monitor.
Karl-Anthony Towns – $9200 – Been playing well, like the upside and price.
Al Horford – $7000 – Big savings off Towns if you want to take the other side.
Pau Gasol – $5500 – Risky, but hope he rebounds from past few games. We always like targeting centers versus the Suns.
Andre Drummond – $9500 – If he plays. If not, it’s the Boban show again.
Value/Punt Plays – Don’t like paying down tonight. Robin Lopez $4800, Brook Lopez $3800, J.V. $4900
