NBA GPP Cheat Sheet

Prices listed are Fanduel unless otherwise noted.

My NBA articles will mostly focus on Fanduel lineup construction since besides center, you need to play two at each position. The players recommended are usually still good plays on DraftKings unless the pricing is drastically different. Also, many players on DraftKings have dual position eligibility or may be listed at a different position. I will try to mention if there is a specific good play on DK based on price or position eligibility. The players listed are in no particular order, as sometimes I am giving choices to help build your lineups at all price points.

Point Guard

Jamal Murray – $6500 – Been playing well and I like the price.

Tyler Johnson – $6000 – Let down yesterday, I would have won a lot of money had he done well. Can’t be afraid to go back to him. Three Heat have already been ruled out. Should bounce back.

Ish Smith – $6000 – Price keeps going up, but can still use him and he can get 5-6X especially on DK where he is cheaper.

Elfrid Payton – $7600 – Price is also increasing but he has been playing well so it is deserved. Big ceiling.

Dennis Schroder – $7700 – Like more if going up against Shabazz Napier instead of Lillard.

Value/Punt Plays – TJ McConnell $4800, Tony Parker $4000, Shabazz Napier $4800 if Lillard is out.

Shooting Guard

Donovan Mitchell – $7500 – Like the upside versus the Cavs at the price.

Gary Harris $6300 or Will Barton $6200 – Both Denver guards are in good spot verus the Sixers who have some of the worst DVP versus shooting guards.

Kent Bazemore – $5800 – Just a gut feeling, and optimizer likes him.

J.J. Redick – $5100 – Risky, but good upside at that price.  Covington now in but still good play and Embid is out which should increase usage.

C.J. McCollum – $7500 – Like more if no Lillard.

Value/Punt Plays – Dwayne Wade $4800, Marco Belinelli $3500, J.R. Smith $4100

Small Forward

Kawhi Leonard – $7400 – Assuming he plays, if you were in chat last night we knew he was gonna get “Popped”. Hoping he gets 25-30 minutes and he should pay off at this still low price.

LeBron James – $11500 – I like James over Durant tonight.

Courtney Lee – $5600 – We like targeting small forwards versus the Pelicans.

Jonathan Simmons – $5800 – Still in play with Fournier and Gordon back in the lineup.

Wilson Chandler – $5200 – Risky, but upside at the price.

Value/Punt Plays – E’Twaun Moore $4600, Stanley Johnson $4000, Thabo Sefolosha $3500

Power Forward

Ben Simmons – $8700 – Like the upside at that price and usage should go up tonight with no Embid.

Dario Saric – $6500 – You could even pair the two together on Fanduel. Simmons is point guard eligible on DK also.

Kelly Olynyk – $6700 – With several players out for the Heat should get usage bump. Risky GPP play.

Tobias Harris – $7000 – Think he can still get it done against the Spurs.

Derrick Favors – $6200 – Think he can get 5X tonight.

Value/Punt Plays – Jordan Bell $4900, Ed Davis $3900, Jeff Green $4200

Center

DeMarcus Cousins – $11200 – I wouldn’t expect 80 again like last night, but 60 is possible and worth it.

Andre Drummond – $9700 – I just keep playing him and when I don’t he goes for 55 Fanduel points. Good floor and ceiling.

Kevin Love – $8000 – He’s been the ultimate GPP play this year. Good ceiling, but floor low for price.

Jusif Nurkic – $6100 – Willie got me on him late the other day and it payed off. Think you can go back to him again especially if Lillard is out.

Value/Punt Plays – Richaun Holmes $4000 only value play I like.
