NBA GPP Plays

Prices listed are Fanduel unless otherwise noted.

My NBA articles will mostly focus on Fanduel lineup construction since besides center, you need to play two at each position. The players recommended are usually still good plays on DraftKings unless the pricing is drastically different. Also, many players on DraftKings have dual position eligibility or may be listed at a different position. I will try to mention if there is a specific good play on DK based on price or position eligibility. These are my favorite plays at each position and maybe a value play or two.

 Point Guard

D’Angelo Russell – My favorite play of the night based on price. Has scored over 30 fantasy points every game so far. I am thinking he gets close to 40 Fanduel points tonight.

Damian Lillard – Highest upside of any point guard on the slate.

Ricky Rubio – Has done well with his new team the Jazz. Good spot tonight versus the Clippers.

Jrue Holiday – He won’t hit that 50-point ceiling playing with Anthony Davis and Demarcus Cousins. But he does have 40-point upside and is in a good spot in an up-pace game.

D.J. Augustin – Starting again for the injured Elfrid Payton. Unfortunately, his price jumped significantly.

Shooting Guard

Tim Hardaway Jr. – Yes, I am going back to the well again tonight. He started to finally play well at the end of last game. Tonight, he breaks out of his slump. Still only $4700.

Justin Holiday – Still a little too expensive, but is getting the minutes. Solid floor.

E’Twaun Moore – If playing down for shooting guard, you could do worse.

Terrence Ross – Will pick up some of the slack with Payton still out.

Terry Rozier – If Marcus Smart doesn’t play. Has played well in his absence.

 Small Forward

LeBron James – I was wrong about James two days ago. Tonight he gets the triple dub.

Jimmy Butler – He will break out one of these days. I want him at his price of $8300 when he does.

Evan Fournier – Prefer him if Aaron Gordon is out, but it looks like he will play. Still a good play at a weak position tonight.

Power Forward

Trevor Booker – Has scored 28 to 31 fantasy points in all three games so far.

Anthony Davis – Has been a beast so far this season. Always have to worry about injury though.

Aaron Gordon – High ceiling as we saw his elevated play during the preseason.

Derrick Favors – At $5600, think he can hit 6x value tonight.

Center

DeMarcus Cousins – I am never going to say he isn’t in play.

Karl-Anthony Towns – If you can pay up for center tonight, he and Cousins my top two options.

Enes Kanter – Been playing well and still priced right at $5600.

Nikola Vucevic – The offense has run through him so far with Payton out. He’s capitalized with 47-55 fantasy points in three straight games.

Al Horford – Should be low-owned with the other center options tonight. Like his upside tonight at his price.
