MLB DFS – 9/12

Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

PITCHING – Studs

Corey Kluber … Indians don’t lose anymore and he is the AL Cy Young likely this year.  Sure, he’s good.  But he’s really expensive and rightfully so. He’s chalk for good reason in cash games and likely is around 20-30% owned on both sites.

Clayton Kershaw … Not worth it because of pitch count limit and Giants low K% even though he destroys them.

My Choices

Jose Quintana … Cubs should win this game today and I like Quintana at home.  Since coming over to the Cubs he has had better starts at home in Wrigley and the Mets don’t scare me much.

Eduardo Rodriguez … You guys know that I am not a huge fan of E-Rod, but I rolled with him in his last start and he’s got a great matchup against Oakland who strikes out a ton….  If the command is on he could have a huge game.

Lance Lynn … I like both pitchers here (Lynn & Stephenson), but give the slight edge to Lynn who’s pitched well versus everyone not named Joey Votto on the Reds.  Cardinals good at home and should win here.

Longshot

Julio Teheran … The Nats clinched on Sunday, and the odd thing is that they rested everyone the day that they clinched.  So tonight they should all be back in the lineup, but I am still going to jump on a min owned Julio Teheran on the road.

FAVORITE STACKS

Philadelphia … Humans should not get as excited as I am to see this Phillies lineup.  Herrera, Galvis, Altherr!, Rhys, Nicky Williams…  Phils rake tonight off Dillon PETERS.   The Marlins are also in play, specifically Christian Yelich.

Minnesota …. Twins are going to make the playoffs.  I repeat, Twins are going to make the playoffs…  Now is the time for them to put the hammer down and sweep the Padres at home.

Texas … It’s Marco Gonzales vs Miguel Gonzalez!  What an epic matchup.  Stack the crap outta this one folks.

SNEAKY STACK

Houston … Love the Astros tonight to beat up on Richards
