Week 11 Deep Sleepers

QB Eli Manning vs. TB

Manning is coming off his lowest passing yards total of the season with 188, but he did throw three touchdowns. Manning has at least 316 passing yards in three of his last five games. Manning has multiple touchdowns in only three of nine games, but he gets one of the best matchups against the Buccaneers, who have allowed the third most Fantasy points to quarterbacks and haven’t faced a lot of the top passing games. The Buccaneers have allowed multiple touchdown passes in seven of nine games and 23 for the season while intercepting one pass. The Giants have an implied total of 27.

RB Josh Adams @NO

Adams has been the most impressive back for Philadelphia but has split the touches with Wendell Smallwood and Corey Clement. Coach Doug Pederson said Adams would get more touches going forward. Over the last two games, Adams has 16 carries for 108 yards (6.75 yards per carry) and is gaining 3.8 yards after contact. The matchup isn’t great against the Saints, who allow 3.28 yards per carry and no backfield has topped 76 yards rushing against them. Part of the reason is the Saints have played from ahead, and teams don’t run on them much. With six teams on bye, if Adams can get 60 yards and a touchdown, he comes through.

RB Theo Riddick @CAR

Riddick has been the Golden Tate replacement with 15 targets the last two games. The Lions offensive line has allowed 16 sacks the previous two games, and Matthew Stafford has been forced to get rid of the ball quickly, helping Riddick get more looks. Marvin Jones is out, solidifying the targets for Riddick, who had seven catches for 36 yards on eight targets in Week 9 and six catches for 60 yards on seven targets last week.

WR Josh Reynolds vs. KC

Reynolds will take over for Cooper Kupp, who is out for the season with a torn ACL. While he won’t play the same role Kupp did, Reynolds will be on the field a lot for a team that runs three-wide receiver sets often. When Kupp was out a few weeks ago, Reynolds played 84 and 88 percent of the snaps. In Week 7 against the 49ers, Reynolds had one target and caught a 19-yard pass. The next week against the Packers, Reynolds had five targets and caught three passes for 42 yards with two touchdowns. The over/under is 64, and the Rams have a 33.5-point implied total against the Chiefs.

WR Tre’Quan Smith vs. PHI

Dig deep this deep threat & deep sleeper! Smith only needs one big play to dominate! No doubt Smith is risky, but that’s why he’s a deep sleeper. Smith let many down last week in a juice matchup by not getting a target against the Bengals. The Saints dominated, and Drew Brees only attempted 25 passes. Smith faces an Eagles defense that is better against the run than the pass and has numerous injuries in the secondary. Smith has three touchdowns, and all have come at home. The Eagles allow the fifth-most Fantasy points to wide receivers, and Smith needs one big play to come through and with six teams on bye, he’s in play despite last week.

TE Jonnu Smith @IND

Smith is an athletic tight end that surprisingly hasn’t been involved in the offense for most of the season. The Titans offense struggled for a while as Marcus Mariota was dealing with nerve damage in his elbow and couldn’t feel his fingers. After a bye in Week 8, Mariota has looked good and is healthy. Smith has scored in two straight games. Smith had two catches for 33 yards with a touchdown last week and caught three passes for 45 yards with a touchdown in Week 10. Smith gets the Colts in Week 11, and they have allowed a touchdown to a tight end in two of the last three games and 69.3 yards per game to tight ends. They have allowed 53 catches to tight ends, the fifth-most in the NFL.
