If you’re like me, you are HOOKED on Dynasty Fantasy Football. It is addicting! Before you know it, you end up with 5, 10, or 20 teams you’re managing, because, well, I don’t know why, it’s a phenomenon. It just happens. While we all believe that EVERY OWNER should never abandon a fantasy team (it’s sacrilegious actually), teams do become orphans and they need new homes. We have NEVER had a league fold because we do whatever it takes to find these teams new homes. Reasons for leaving include: their state may no longer allow fantasy, work is getting in the way, or they tried dynasty and it just isn’t for them.HOW TO BUY

We will post all orphans on sale for the Dynasty Football World Championship Season Six. To buy, simply post SOLD, and the orphan team name, example 6A. If a team is already marked SOLD, but you want to be first in line, reply SOLD 6A NEXT. All teams have an additional $4.95 commissioner/compliance fee at checkout. You must then QUICKLY head to the orphan lobby page to purchase your team.
These Dynasty leagues have a $299 entry fee with $2,400+ in league prizes (paying three spots) and the last three weeks you’re playing for both the league prizes and overall prize pool with other league playoff participants with over $20,000 in prizes up for grabs! In addition, we have the coveted Dynasty King award, ($2,000) every season, for the team that scores the most points over the last three seasons!

It was very agressive and came on over the last two days and just like that.. he’s gone. 70 years old. He loved playing fantasy with our home league “Deanos Dragons” every year and playoff fantasy too. He was always there for his momma, calling her every day and always there to run an errand if need be. That’s one thing we can teach our kids. He had lost his wife two years ago and had just had heart surgery in November. Shocked it could be missed or come on that fast. He died on the same day (May 6) as the patriarch of our family, his dad and my grandfather Marvin passed so maybe when its your time, its your time.
I am completely heartbroken and sobbing like a baby, it comes in waves, but one thing is sure. He is now at peace with his wife, but the world definitely lost a great man. Ill get you all squared away as the day goes on here. Thanks for understanding.
Scott, we are all sorry for your loss. You have been working long hours to get us squared away and drafting. I think that you should take the time that you need at a moment like this and FF can wait until you are ready.

Thanks buddy, it comes and goes. I’ve cried a lot, listened to several albums this morning and cried some more. About to get some food with the fam, and run a few errands. I hope that we can have a service of some sorts, but I’m not sure what the plan is. Can everyone get together here in Indiana with COVID? I mean, the whole point of funerals is hugs right? Ugg. Best thing for me is to probably try to keep plugging drafts and orphans away man, thank you for the concern. Things just happened so fast. His lips were turning blueish the other day so they took him into the ER, about 24 hours later they discovered the AML. Finally agreed to very agressive chemo 2 types, 7 days. Was going to completely wipe out his bone marrow and regenerate it. He would have had a year immunocompromised recovery and no visitors likely with this crisis right? What kind of life would that have been? But he did agree to it, with a “I have to try right” attitude. He was then going to be transported to UofL isolation and bone marrow center. Hours later however, his organs started shutting down, pneumonia and then ventillator by 1am. Took his last breath and closed his eyes with his two kids by his side. God must have had other plans for him. Really going to miss Uncle Deano!

If you’re in a draft or about to be, here are a few suggestions:
– 6 Hours per pick – This used to be 12, then 8, then voted on a few years back to 6. We think this allows the right amount of trading. If you don’t want to trade, no problem, feel free to pick when you’re on the clock. Please be patient and allow owners to wheel and deal when on the clock. It’s part of the fun and strategy.
–Use the Player Queue – This is your ONLY protection in case you time out. Click on the blue Q, to add players to the list. In the event you time out, the computer will select from your player queue.
–Overnight Extension – Our timer will EXTEND and add hours to the clock for any team that was going to time out during the hours of 1am eastern to 7am eastern. You will notice up to 12 hours on the clock if someone goes on the clock at 1am.
–DO set your text notifications. Go to the edit team button and add your phone number and carrier. This way you are notified by text when you are on the clock.
-Email notifications are set to ON. This means your inbox is about to be flooded with draft status emails. We are looking at a way to provide toggle on/off functionality for this.
–Back to back picks – Do get back to back timers. Please be patient. If they time out with one of their picks, they still get the full six hours for each pick. They earned the pick and the time.
–Do not engage in cross talk in the league chats. The public message board is fine if you want to chat about players, but not in the individual league chats. This could be a player waiting to be scooped up by a team in line to pick.
–League App is on the way. Yes you heard right. Our developers have been working around the clock. Both for Android and Apple phones. You will no longer have to go through the Player Dashboard > My Teams page path to access your teams.
–Use the Player Queue – YES, we said it again because it’s very important. This is your ONLY protection in case you time out. Click on the blue Q, to add players to the list. In the event you time out, the computer will select from your player queue.Last but not least:
Have fun. This is what dynasty leagues are all about. Trading. Player evaluations are different for all of us. Try not to be offended when a trade offer doesn’t jive with your evaluations. We dynasty owners tend to get greedy. It’s all part of it. Sit back and enjoy. My dynasty rankings are based on what it would take for ME to trade away that player. It does not indicated average draft position or community herd think. It’s just my personal talent evaluations. The goal of my rankings is to provide your team with as much trade value as possible over the 5 year period, not necessarily right now.DFWC 55 is underway, have fun! Catching up on everything else that may have been missed. I think we might have another draft or two firing up. IF your draft is not full by tomorrow morning, all remaining teams will be orphaned and up for sale on Sunday. We try to make every effort so owners don’t lose teams they worked hard to build, but a week from draft start is our limit. Thank you for understanding.
