With the shortened season, I’m seeing that closers and power are the assets to have. I have two drafts coming up this weekend. What are your thoughts on strategy for drafting? What should I be focusing on? Both leagues are pretty standard as far as scoring.

      Thanks

Format is key for sure. Quality pitching will be key for me as wins are important to my plan. With a shorter number of innings pitched this year, many fantasy owners are going to fall in a trap in September when chasing wins. Remember ERA and WHIP are temporary states of mind, which invites big downside moves with some bad pitching decisions late in the year.

I’m a fan of being strong in saves, but I won’t overpay for a lower tier name.

My plan is to favor high average low K bats as well, but they need to be middle of the order players early in drafts.

Can you give me some names to target in the middle rounds? That seems to be my downfall.

It would tough for me to gauge who would be available in the middle rounds or how you started your team. I did update a cheat sheet yesterday.

How many teams in the league? And we’re there any keepers? What draft pick do you have?

I dm t have any of that info except that it’s a 12 team league not keepers. I do t know where I’ll be drafting yet. It’s not a keeper league. Im basically just looking  for names of guys you may target.
