The Cycle 7/23

The Staff

Smith – Love this spot for him tonight in what should be a game where we can see close to double digit k’s. He owns an insane 32% k rate against RHB and a 38% swinging strike with his slider.

Nola – I’ve been targeting Detroit with RHP for a while. Nola has been unhittable aside from one hiccup over the last 30 days giving up just 7 runs in his last 6 games while striking out 48.

Paddack – New York is going into sell mode so we can take this 2 ways. Either they give a crap about how they play, or they put on a show for their new team. Paddock had been dominant over his last 3 starts giving up just 2 runs while striking out 22. San Diego should pick up the win today as well.

The Bats
Arizona – They were so close to popping off last night in a big way, but think they do it tonight. Marte and Escobar are both on fire. Love the lefties with Jones.

Dodgers – Pena has been good but he does allow a lot of runs off him. Dodgers are a team that punish pitchers at home, so expect 3-4 homers tonight (muncy/Joc)

Atlanta – it’s not as hot as I would like in Atlanta, but still it’s a road team throwing a lefty here. Albies and Acuna I love today, and once Duffy is out Freeman tee’s off on the pen.

Mini stacks

Cleveland – Lindor/Slamtana

Houston – Brantley/Alvarez

Philly – Kingery/Realmuto
