PGA DFS has created a significant following over the past few years. Which is the best thing that could have happened to the sport, next to Tiger making his all world comeback of course. This overflow of PGA DFS players has snowballed in the right direction, creating a wide variety of contests on our go to DFS sites (DraftKings, FanDuel, Yahoo, and even DRAFT). The players that have put in the work are sharper than ever. The content is vast and can be somewhat overwhelming. If you have ever asked yourself who do I trust? Who am I going to believe in enough to put my hard-earned money on the line for? Raise your hand. My hand is up. Now put your hand down and listen. Here at FullTime Fantasy Sports we want to take the guess work out of it for you. DFS is a sport in and of itself and if we aren’t willing to put in the research, it will hinder our long-term ROI. Majority of DFS players got into this because they love sports, some got into DFS to make money, and others got into this to TAKE money. That is where we come in at FullTime Fantasy Sports, we want to TAKE what we deserve because we don’t cut corners, we don’t glance over articles, we don’t throw in uneducated lineups.  We are WINNERS. Now let’s go WIN.

Your DraftKings lineup is made up of 6 golfers you choose within a $50,000 salary cap.

Your FanDuel lineup is made up of 6 golfers you choose within a $60,000 salary cap.

Quick tip: You can create an ownership edge by simply not using all of your salary cap.

Throughout this article, I will be giving you my Top-Notch Options, Salary Savers, Tourney Treasures, and one Sneaky Suspicion. I will also provide a FADE of the week to help you create an edge against all competition. Let’s dive in!

COURSE OVERVIEW

Wow last week was an amazing tournament and I couldn’t be happier for Tiger but Masters week is over and it’s back to the normal PGA Tour grind. This week we head to Hilton Head, SC to take on the RBC Heritage. Also known as the “Hangover Heritage” as golfers are mentally exhausted from the grueling week prior.

Harbour Town Golf Links is a Pete Dye design and will require each golfer’s full attention from start to finish. The course isn’t terribly difficult, but it does require an accurate driver of the golf ball. Anything outside the fairways can create challenging second shots and make golfers lay up instead of having a chance for birdie. This is not a bomb and gouge design it is more of a shot makers course and even more so this week with weather concerns. The wind on Friday and Saturday is treacherous and could reach gusts up to 45 mph with sustained wind around 35 mph. I will definitely be taking good wind players into effect this week. Let’s dive in!

These rankings are based on a mixed model created on Fantasynational.com using my personal rankings and other various factors that best fit this course specifically.

Top Notch Options– My top ranked golfers in the field.

Dustin Johnson (DK $11,600, FD $12,400)- DJ did not disappoint last week if you played him but if you didn’t play him last week, I recommend you hop on now. He is a great wind player and the clear-cut top talent in this field. If you can afford him and feel confident in your cheaper options, I would fire him up without hesitation.

Matt Kuchar (DK $10,000, FD $11,500)- Cash King did it again last week posting another solid finish at a Major and padding his wallet even more. Kuchar is a Pete Dye specialist and thrives in any condition. His approach game is lights out this season and if he rattles in a few longer putts he will be in the mix come Sunday. I will play Kuchar is cash and GPP’s this week.

Jim Furyk- (DK $9,400, FD $10,300)- Another model of consistency this season is Furyk. The man is having a resurgent season and can continue his form with a course that fits his eye and game. Furyk ranks 2nd in my model and is no stranger to harsh conditions. I am hoping he goes overlooked after having last week off and slightly disappointing folks the week prior to the Masters. Cash lock, GPP consideration.

Tommy Fleetwood (DK $9,200, FD $11,300)- Will this be Fleetwood’s first win? I truly think it can be. Fleetwood is underpriced on DK and we should all take advantage. It is his first time at this course, but other golfers have proven that doesn’t really matter. Fleetwood’s stats lineup, wind player lines up and price lines up. I’m going to have Fleetwood in cash and GPP’s. He will be my highest owned golfer on the week.

Salary Savers– My value plays.

Si Woo Kim (DK $9,000, FD $10,100)- Course horse on a small sample size but Si Woo is playing at a very high level right now. His ball striking is exceptional, and he has proven history on this course.  I think he will putt better than most weeks and make another run at winning this tournament after a 2nd place finish last season. Si Woo can stripe it in the wind as well and could also be considered a Pete Dye specialist with great finishes here and at The Players. Cash or GPP.

Ian Poulter (DK $8,600, FD $10,200)- The Honey Badger will be out for blood this week after a disappointing Sunday at the Masters. He is a great fit for this design and last season he held the 54-hole lead. I believe Poulter can repeat if not improve upon last year’s finish with a come from behind round on Sunday. Poulter is a cash lock for me this week but I will not shy away from him in tournaments.

Byeong Hun An (DK $8,200, FD $9,800)- First round leader bets anyone? I have a feeling An comes out firing on all cylinders and posts a really low round to start the week. He can play well in the wind as well. His first time out he took 7th place and he has the ability to improve upon that this season. An will be in about 50% of my lineups due to price and roster construction this week.

Ryan Moore (DK $8,100, FD $9,200)- Last time Moore was in my core he placed 3rd and helped me stay alive at the Valero Texas Open. With a week of rest and time to focus he can repeat his stellar course history and a win is not out of the question for Moore. The ball striking and off the tee game is crisp. To help matters he also plays well in windy conditions. Play him in cash or GPP’s.

Tourney Treasures– Options that will go overlooked but are worth a shot in a GPP.

Emiliano Grillo (DK $7,400, FD $9,400)- Grillo was a disappointment last week. He simply couldn’t get anything going but that will make him less appealing to most this week. I will play him in tournaments as a bounce back candidate on a course he was t16 in 2018. The putter can get hot any week, let’s just hope it is this week. Grillo has top ten upside with a good chance to make the cut and be cash viable. I will play in all formats.

Luke Donald (DK $7,200, FD $9,000)- Course horse alert! This guy lights this course up in the past 5 years he has 3 top 2 finishes. Super solid and he should have relatively low ownership compared to others in his price range like Wallace, Mitchell, and Snedeker. I am going to play him in a lot of lineups with DJ and hope for another great showing at a course he loves.

Sneaky Suspicion– Gut play of the week.

Charley Hoffman (DK $7,800, FD $9,700)- I love going back to golfers who were high owned the previous week and didn’t perform as well as most would hope. Charley falls into that mold this week. I think he has the talent and form to compete at a high level this week. At reduced ownership, an ability to play well in the wind, and good current form Charley is this week’s Sneaky Suspicion.

Fade– A golfer that is higher owned and doesn’t deserve a spot on our rosters.

Francesco Molinari (DK $11,300, FD $11,800)- Coming off an emotional Sunday at the Masters Molinari has to be emotionally drained. Not only will he be drained but his statistics don’t line up particularly well for this layout. He comes in ranked in the bottom half in putting on Bermuda, as well as a poor Sunday of ball striking at Augusta. Even though he is top three as far as talent in the field some courses simply do not lineup for certain golfers.

Important- Other golfers on my radar. I will have a good amount of exposure to, but they just missed the write up cut. *Favorite in the group.
