Pitching chart-Stats from 2018

Justin Verlander

Verlander has pitched well vs this current Yankee squad limiting them to a .190 average over 60 at bats and striking them out at a 33% clip.

Jhoulys Chacin

Chacin pitches well over his first 2 starts going 10.2 innings and allowing only 3 hits and striking out 13 batters. He faces the Angels tonight who have not hit well to start the season vs RHP with a .211 average and 7 HRs (3 from Trout).  Chacin has done well vs RHH’s limiting them to a .234 wOBA and .6 HRs/9 and the Angels usually roll out 5 RHH’s.

Dark Horse

Julio Teheran

Teheran has pitched solid over his first 2 games showing some K upside striking out 14 batters in 10 innings. DK SP 2 option with risk in Coors , but mainly looking for the K upside as he struck out the Rockies batters at a 33% clip over 100 at bats in his career.

Oakland As

As face off against Andrew Cashner in Camden Yards- Nice Park for hitters and big upgrade for he As. Cashner was hit by both LHHs and RHH’s equally last year, but allowed more HRs to LHHs. Kendrys Morales would be the left handed bat i like in this spot. The right handed bats Khris Davis, Matt  Chapman and Stephen Piscotty all posted over a .200 ISO vs RHP in 2018.

Seattle Mariners

Mariners face off against Homer Bailey who got lit up last year. Bailey allowed close to 2 HRs/9 last year with a HC rate of 45% vs RHH’s. Jay Bruce has 5 HRs in his last 6 games. Mitch Haniger and Domingo Santana both crush RHP. Ryan Healy also has power upside vs RHP.

Paul Goldschmidt

Cardinals face off against Ryu tonight who has pitched very well in his first 2 starts. He also pitches very well at home, but on the road last year Ryu allowed 6 HRs over 27 innings( 1.9 HRs/9) and over a 2 run differential on his ERA. Insert Paul Goldschmidt who has smashed LHP last year with a .403 wOBA, .373 ISO and 49% HC rate. He has also hit well vs Ryu going 11-26 with 3 doubles and 3 HRs.

Khris Davis

Nice park upgrade for the As today and they get to face Andrew Cashner who has allowed 10 hits and 5 ERs over 10 innings so far this year.  He is also a low strike out pitcher, especially vs RHHs. Cashner allowed a .370 wOBA to RHH’s in 2018. Insert Davis who has historically crushed RHP and in 2018 posted a 315 ISO and 45% HC rate.

Joc Pederson

Pederson crushes RHP .374 wOBA, .295 ISO and 44% HC rate. He should be in the lead off spot tonight vs a RHP(Mikolas has allowed 4 HRs this year so far ). Mikolas also has allowed 8 runs over 10 innings in his first 2 starts. Corey Seager, Cody Berlinger, Max Muncy and Kike Hernandez at also solid plays for the Dodgers.

Hunter Renfroe

Renfroe has been on fire as of late hitting in 5 straight games with 2 of those being multi-hit games. In that timeframe he has hit 3 HRs and 3 doubles.  Solid BvP vs Bumgardner with a .385 average, 2 doubles and 2 HRs.

Howie Kendrick

Tyler White– HR upside vs Tanaka
Evan Longoria

Orlando Arica
Harrison Bader
