3:07 – 19:00: Doc says that Jerry Jones said that Zeke’s holdout could drag on for months into the season. Doc says that the Cowboys are a Super Bowl contender with Elliott. Doc says another team would pay a lot of money for as good of a running back as Elliott is. Doc says he’d draft Christian McCaffrey, Saquon, and Alvin Kamara all before Zeke. He compares other RBs and WRs that he’d draft before Zeke. Doc says that the reason why Jerry Jones isn’t alarmed by the Zeke holdout, is because the NFC East sucks except for the Eagles. Doc also explains that Zeke has maturity issues.
19:01 – 24:45: Doc discusses the Broncos vs. Falcons Hall of Fame Game from last night. Doc goes over what he wants to see in the preseason: players being healthy, watch rookies he’s not sure about making the team, players not playing more than a quarter or a series.
28:38 – 32:11: Doc goes over some news in the NFL: Cameron Meredith visits Patriots, Billy Price returns to practice, Alexander Madison, Dare Ogunbowale, Peyton Barber vs. Ronald Jones, DeVante Parker, Tyreek Hill returns to practice, Josh Oliver injury, Trent Williams prepared to sit out, Falcons willing to make Julio Jones highest paid WR
34:10 – 47:05: Doc talks to Jim Day a.k.a. “Fantasy Taz” about the articles Jim writes about training camp news and nuggets. Doc asks if there are any other teams besides Miami that Jim is hesitant on. Doc also asks if Jim agrees with his pick of Curtis Samuel over DeDe Westbrook. Jim says that he thinks we’ll see more of Royce Freeman this year than Phillip Lindsay. Are people undervaluing Baker Mayfield because of all the Browns weapons? Doc asks if Jim would take Saquon No. 1 overall and Jim says he could make the case for all four RBs for the first pick. Jim says that he sees the Cowboys ending up paying Zeke and that it won’t go into the season. Will RBs get the money they deserve?
48:00 – 50:26: Doc talks about Andy Isabella’s knee injury.
2:47 – 14:14: Doc goes over the “Fantasy Football Ten Commandments” on ffchamps.com and goes over the key commandment: “Thou Shall Wait on Thy Quarterback.”
14:20 – 19:50: Doc reports that Lamar Jackson doesn’t see himself running as much this year. Doc compares Jackson to other QBs in the league.
22:08 – 34:45: Doc goes through a mock draft on mockdraftnow.com, starting with Le’Veon Bell at No. 6 overall. He also explains why he drafted Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert.
36:04 – 47:00: Doc talks to Pete Davidson about where he would draft Zeke and Doc says that he might draft him at No. 12. They discuss Melvin Gordon and where he should be drafted and if Leonard Fournette is a dog, or if Blake Bortles made him look bad. Pete says that he feels like Odell is going to have a career year this year or next year, now that he has an accurate QB in Baker Mayfield, as opposed to a bad O-line in New York and bad play from Eli Manning.
48:28 – 49:00: Doc wraps up the shows as he discusses the Patriots signing of WR Cameron Meredith.
