NBA GPP Plays

Prices listed are Fanduel unless otherwise noted.

My NBA articles will mostly focus on Fanduel lineup construction since besides center, you need to play two at each position. The players recommended are usually still good plays on DraftKings unless the pricing is drastically different. Also, many players on DraftKings have dual position eligibility or may be listed at a different position. I will try to mention if there is a specific good play on DK based on price or position eligibility. These are my favorite plays at each position and maybe a value play or two.

Point Guard

Russell Westbrook – I have run out of things to say about Westbrook and its only week two of the season. Can’t deny his ceiling.

John Wall – Look for him to get close to his ceiling game in the highest total on the slate. Don’t think they get blown out. Might end up being 10-point win for Warriors. But I don’t think they get there until late in the fourth quarter.

Kyle Lowry – Good matchup against the rookie Lonzo Ball. One of the highest over/unders on the slate.

Dejounte Murray – Value play if looking to pay down at point guard. Only $5500 on Fanduel. Had scored over 30 fantasy points in three straight before throwing up a dud last game.

Kemba Walker – Has yet to really go off this season. This could be the game in a high paced matchup versus the Rockets.

Shooting Guard

Klay Thomspon – Never super highly owned. He’s off to a hot start so far with three games of 38 or more fantasy points.

Andrew Wiggins – Like him better if Jimmy Butler is out again. Pay attention to the news.

Bradley Beal – Three of four games this year has scored 42-48 fantasy points. The fourth game he had 30. Price has caught up with him, but huge floor.

DeMar DeRozen – Is it a Lowry night or DeRozen night? Maybe both?

Caris LeVert – Let people down the other night. That should keep ownership down. Will keep playing him with De’Angelo Russell out.

Small Forward

Allen Crabbe – Only needs 22 points to hit 5X. Easily can hit 6X and possibly 7.

Paul George – Hopefully get him for lower ownership after letting people down the other night. Though he will still be popular

Taurean Prince – He was chalky last night and didn’t pay off. Again, hopefully people remember that, and he goes lower owned. Boom or bust.

Kyle Anderson – Put up 30 fantasy points in 27 minutes last time out. Has been playing well in the absence of Kawhi Leonard.

Kevin Durant – 45 to 50 Fanduel points in every game this season. Huge floor, still waiting for the ceiling game.

Power Forward

Kristaps Porzingas – Probably the chalk tonight at the position. Good chalk in my opinion. Love his ceiling

Otto Porter – Price dropped back down a little. Three of four games has over 30 fantasy points. 47 and 57 points in two of them. Can easily hit 5x, looking for 6-7x.

Frank Kaminsky – Still a good price at only $5400. Has 25-34 fantasy points last three.

LaMarcus Aldridge – Everything I have said in my other articles still apply. As long as Leonard is out, he is playable.

Serge Ibaka – Like his price of only $5500. He is always a risky play.

Center

Brook Lopez – J.V. isn’t playing for Toronto tonight, which makes him a solid play.

Marcin Gortat – Could see him hit 36 tonight, which would be 6x.

Clint Capela – He has put up over 50 fantasy points in two of the five games this year.

Dwight Howard – Has a huge floor so far this season, scoring 32-37 points a night. Waiting for his ceiling game. Could come tonight versus the Rockets.

Nikola Jokic – Don’t want to miss the game he goes off for 60 Fanduel points. Don’t see any centers on Atlanta stopping him.
