Quarterbacks

Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens (ankle)

Some say it was only a matter of time given the amount he runs the ball. Nonetheless, Jackson suffered an ankle injury late in the game agains the Chiefs and was unable to finish out the 4th Quarter or Overtime.

Fantasy Impact: Jackson stayed down on the ground for a good chunk of time before finally being helped off the field. Doubt Jackson plays in a great match-up against the Bucs in Week 15, instead look for Joe Flacco to make his return to the field. If Flacco (hip) isn’t healthy, Robert Griffin III would start at QB.

Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers, (Ribs)

Big Ben went to the locker-room in the 2nd Quarter after taking a BIG hit. He missed all of the 3rd Quarter but was able to return to action very late in the 4th Quarter to lead the Steelers down the field for what should have been a game tying field goal (Chris Boswell slipped and the kick got blocked).

Fantasy Impact: Since Big Ben was able to return to action we fully expect him to play through the injury in a very important match-up against the patriots in Week 15. The Steelers are on a three game losing streak and are essentially in a must win scenario to keep their drive for an AFC playoff birth alive. Roethlisberger will play vs. the Pats.

Ryan Tannehill, Miami Dolphins (Ankle)

In and out of the team’s Week 14 game vs. the Patriots, Tannehill was clearly bothered by his ankle injury. He was hobbling on the field when he reentered action and admitted after the game he was “sore.”

Fantasy Impact: With eight TDs in his last three games, Tannehill’s stock has been surging but he is still outside of QB1 territory and really only an option for two QB leagues. Will keep an eye on his practice reports this week, but he’ll likely get the Questionable tag heading into Week 15.

Running Backs

Austin Ekeler, Los Angeles Chargers (Stinger)

After totaling 94 total and a TD in Week 14, Ekeler suffered a neck stinger while trying to recover an onside kick in the final few minutes of the 4th Quarter.

Fantasy Impact: Ekeler finally came through while Melvin Gordon was inactive. The Chargers have a short week as they take on the Chiefs on Thursday Night. Ekeler will be very questionable for Week 15 and if Melvin Gordon (knee) can’t play either, Justin Jackson would get the bulk of the Chargers work.

Spencer Ware, Kansas City Chiefs (Hamstring, Shoulder)

Ware was in an out of action after suffering a shoulder and hamstring injury in the 2nd Quarter but was able to play in the 2nd Half vs. the Ravens.

Fantasy Impact: Look for Ware to get the Questionable tag as the Chiefs have a short week playing on Thursday Night. Damian Williams would get the bulk of work for KC if Ware cannot play.

Isaiah Crowell, New York Jets (Foot)

Bothered by a toe injury all week heading into Sunday, Crowell ended up leaving Week 14 early with a foot injury.

Fantasy Impact: With Crowell out of action, Elijah McGuire took over and scored a TD while rushing for 60 yards. Crowell is Questionable at best for Week 14.

Corey Clement, Philadelphia Eagles (Knee)

One of four Eagles active running backs, Clement suffered a knee sprain that will likely keep him out of action in Week 15.

Fantasy Impact: Given the heavy committee approach, Clement is not much of a fantasy factor at this point. Darren Sproles, Josh Adams and Wendell Smallwood would form a three headed committee as the Eagles take on the Rams in Week 15.

LeSean McCoy, Buffalo Bills (Hamstring)

Injured on the team’s opening drive, McCoy did not return to action against the Jets.

Fantasy Impact: MRI results came back relatively clean and McCoy has a shot to play in Week 15 against the Lions. We will monitor his practice participation, but he’ll likely get the Questionable tag.

Wide Receiver

Tyreek Hill, Kansas City Chiefs (foot)

Clearly bothered by a foot injury throughout the game, Hill toughed it out and played through the injury. Unfortunately he admitted his foot was “bad” after the game. To make matters worse the Chiefs have a short week as they play the Chargers in Week 15 on Thursday Night.

Fantasy Impact: The Chiefs Offense would severely lack their explosive nature if Hill cannot play on Thursday Night. If Hill cannot play on Thursday, it would negatively impact Patrick Mahomes as the Chiefs are already without Sammy Watkins and lost Kareem Hunt two weeks ago. Hill will be Questionable and if he doesn’t practice on Wednesday it could be a bad sign that he won’t be able to play.

Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos (Thigh)

Spotted on the sidelines riding the workout bike, Sutton was slowed by a thigh injury that kept him very quiet in Week 14.

Fantasy Impact: With Emmanuel Sanders out for the year many expected Sutton to see a large Broncos target share, but that was not the case as he only saw six of Case Keenum’s 42 passing attempts come his way. It will be hard to trust Sutton in Week 15.

Bruce Ellington, Detroit Lions (Hamstring)

The already very thin Lions receiving corps lost another one of their weapons in Week 14 as Bruce Ellington left the game early with a hamstring injury.

Fantasy Impact: A solid target share the last few weeks (23 in four games), Ellington has been relatively unproductive. He’ll be questionable for Week 15.

Tight End

Austin Hooper, Atlanta Falcons (knee)

The Falcons tight end filled his usual role, catching four passes for 37 yards, his fourth week in a row of either four or five catches. On the team’s final drive, Hooper suffered a knee injury and with the game out of hand, did not return to the field.

Fantasy Impact: There’s not much information yet on the severity of the injury so we will monitor his practice reports heading into Week 15.

Jordan Reed, Washington Redskins (foot)

Healthy for the first thirteen weeks of the season, the oft-injured Reed suffered what appears to be a bad foot injury in the 1st Quarter of the Redskins game agains the Giants.

Fantasy Impact: Reed need helped getting off the field and immediately headed to the locker-room. Vernon Davis would see a big boost in work in Week 15 as Reed will likely miss the game against Jacksonville.
