SP Brett Anderson, Oakland Athletics

Anderson is on the DL with a left shoulder strain and is on a rehab assignment.

SP Chris Archer, Tampa Bay Rays

Archer has a left abdominal strain and is on the DL. He threw a simulated game last week and could start a rehab assignment this week.

SP Dylan Bundy, Baltimore Orioles

Bundy was placed on the DL with a left ankle sprain.

OF Byron Buxton, Minnesota Twins

Buxton was activated from the DL and optioned to Triple-A. He has struggled during his rehab assignment and the Twins want him to spend more time in the minors.

SP Trevor Cahill, Oakland Athletics

Cahill is on the DL with a right Achilles tendon strain. He has thrown a couple of bullpen sessions and could start a rehab assignment soon.

SP Carlos Carrasco, Cleveland Indians

Carrasco was hit by a comebacker and on the DL with a right elbow contusion. He pitched well in a rehab start over the weekend and will pitch for the Indians on Friday.

3B Matt Chapman, Oakland Athletics

Chapman is on the DL with a right thumb contusion. He is slated to return Tuesday.

OF Lonnie Chisenhall, Cleveland Indians

Chisenhall will be placed on the DL with a left calf strain. He missed two months with a right calf strain.

SS Carlos Correa, Houston Astros

Correa is on the 10-day DL with back stiffness.

3B Zack Cozart, Los Angeles Angels

Cozart had season-ending surgery on his left shoulder for a torn labrum.

OF Nicky Delmonico, Chicago White Sox

He has a fractured right hand and on the DL. He has started hitting off a tee.

3B Josh Donaldson, Toronto Blue Jays

Donaldson is on the DL with left calf tightness. He suffered a setback during his rehab and will be reevaluated in a few weeks.

SP Jacob Faria, Tampa Bay Rays

Faria is on the 60-day DL with a left oblique strain. He threw a bullpen last week and is eligible to return in late July.

SP Wilmer Font, Tampa Bay Rays

Font was placed on the DL with a right lat strain and could miss eight weeks.

SP Miguel Gonzalez, Chicago White Sox

He is on the DL with right rotator cuff inflammation and scheduled to start a rehab assignment this week.

RP Shane Greene, Detroit Tigers

Greene was placed on the 10-day DL with a right shoulder strain. Joe Jimenez will close in his absence.

1B Ronald Guzman, Texas Rangers

Guzman was placed on the 7-day DL with a concussion.

RP Nate Jones, Chicago White Sox

Jones is on the DL with a pronator strain in his right arm.

C Brian McCann, Houston Astros

McCann was placed on the DL for the second time this season with right knee soreness.

SP Daniel Mengden, Oakland Athletics

He is on the DL with a right foot sprain.

RP Andrew Miller, Cleveland Indians

Miller is on the DL with right knee inflammation and is limited to flat-ground throwing. He could be cleared to throw off a mound this week.

P/DH Shohei Ohtani, Los Angeles Angels

Ohtani is on the DL with a Grade 2 UCL sprain in his right elbow. He had a PRP injection and stem-cell treatment in the hopes of avoiding Tommy John surgery. He could return this week to be a designated hitter, but is unlikely to pitch the rest of the season.

2B Dustin Pedroia, Boston Red Sox

Pedroia is on the DL with left knee inflammation.

SP Martin Perez, Texas Rangers

Perez is on the DL with discomfort in his right elbow. He is expected to start a rehab assignment this week.

SP Drew Pomeranz, Boston Red Sox

Pomeranz landed on the DL with left biceps tendonitis and allowed five runs, four hits, and two walks in 2.2  innings in his first rehab start Monday at Triple-A.

SP Garrett Richards, Los Angeles Angels

Richards is out with a left hamstring strain and has started to play catch. He will throw a bullpen session early in the week and then be reevaluated.

SP Aaron Sanchez, Toronto Blue Jays

Sanchez landed on the DL with a right index finger contusion. He is expected to begin throwing this week.

C Gary Sanchez, New York Yankees

Sanchez was placed on the 10-day DL with a right groin strain. He is expected to miss 3-4 weeks.

SP Ervin Santana, Minnesota Twins

Santana allowed one run on two hits in three innings in a rehab start at High-A Fort Myers on Saturday. He didn’t top 90 miles per hour.

SP Matt Shoemaker, Los Angeles Angels

Shoemaker had right forearm surgery and is out indefinitely.

OF Jorge Soler, Kansas City Royals

Soler is expected to miss six weeks with a fractured first metatarsal in his left foot.

SP Masahiro Tanaka, New York Yankees

He is on the DL with mild strains in both hamstrings and will miss several weeks. He will make a start at Triple-A Wednesday.

RP Ryan Tepera, Toronto Blue Jays

Tepera was placed on the DL with right elbow inflammation. Tyler Clippard is expected to close while Tepera is out.

SP Andrew Triggs, Oakland Athletics

Triggs is on the DL with right arm nerve irritation and has been shut down from throwing. He will get a second option this week.

SP Nick Tropeano, Los Angeles Angels

Tropeano was placed on the 10-day DL with right shoulder inflammation. He has resumed throwing.

SP Steven Wright, Boston Red Sox

Wright is on the DL with left knee inflammation.

NATIONAL LEAGUE

1B Matt Adams, Washington Nationals

He is on the DL with a fractured left index finger. He will begin a rehab assignment Tuesday.

SP Homer Bailey, Cincinnati Reds

Bailey was placed  on the DL with right knee inflammation and suffered a setback while rehabbing. He is expected to start a rehab assignment this week.

3B Kris Bryant, Chicago Cubs

Bryant is on the DL with left shoulder inflammation. He is expected to be activated this week with Friday the likely day.

OF Jay Bruce, New York Mets

Bruce is on the DL with a right hip strain.

SP Clay Buchholz, Arizona Diamondbacks

Buchholz was placed on the DL with a strained left oblique.

OF Lorenzo Cain, Milwaukee Brewers

Cain is on the DL with a left groin strain. He is eligible to return Wednesday and said there’s a really good chance he will be ready.

C Francisco Cervelli, Pittsburgh Pirates

Cervelli is on the DL with a concussion.

OF Yoenis Cespedes, New York Mets

Cespedes is on the DL with a mild right hip flexor strain and is still shut down due to quad tightness.

OF Franchy Cordero, San Diego Padres

Cordero is on the DL with a right forearm strain and now has a bone spur in his elbow. He is contemplating surgery.

SS J.P. Crawford, Philadelphia Phillies

He has a left hand fracture and expected to miss 4-6 weeks.

SP Johnny Cueto, San Francisco Giants

Cueto has right elbow inflammation and on a rehab assignment. He will throw a bullpen Monday before determining the next step.

OF David Dahl, Colorado Rockies

Dahl is on the DL with a right foot fracture.

SP Yu Darvish, Chicago Cubs

Darvish is out with right triceps tendonitis. He made a rehab start last week and pitched well in five innings, but said after the game the right triceps still doesn’t feel 100 percent. He received a cortisone injection on June 29 and is shut down for 3-5 days.

SP Zach Davies, Milwaukee Brewers

He was placed on the 10-day DL with right rotator cuff inflammation and is on a rehab assignment. He left his last rehab start Friday with lower back tightness.

SS Paul DeJong, St. Louis Cardinals

DeJong is out with a fractured left hand and on a rehab assignment.

RP Carl Edwards, Chicago Cubs

Edwards is on the DL with right shoulder inflammation and is on a rehab assignment. He allowed two runs, two walks, hit a batter and threw a wild pitch in two-thirds of an inning Monday at Triple-A.

RP Luke Gregerson, St. Louis Cardinals

Gregerson is on the DL with a right shoulder impingement. Then he had arthroscopic surgery to repair his meniscus. He’s currently on a rehab assignment.

RP Dominic Leone, St. Louis Cardinals

Leone is out with right upper arm nerve irritation. He does not need surgery and is out indefinitely and on the 60-day DL. He will start a throwing program this week.

3B Evan Longoria, San Francisco Giants

He has a fractured fifth metacarpal in his left hand and had surgery June 19. He will miss 6-8 weeks.

SP Jordan Lyles, San Diego Padres

Lyles is on the DL with right elbow inflammation.

SP Brandon McCarthy, Atlanta Braves

He was placed on the 10-day DL with right knee tendonitis.

SP Wade Miley, Milwaukee Brewers

Miley has a right oblique strain and is on a rehab assignment.

SP Jimmy Nelson, Milwaukee Brewers

Nelson is recovering from shoulder surgery that he had in September. He is throwing off flat ground.

3B Martin Prado, Miami Marlins

Prado is out with a left hamstring strain. He is facing live pitching and running.

SP Hyun-Jin Ryu, Los Angels Dodgers

Ryu tore the groin muscle off the bone and is expected to be back after the All-Star break. He is expected to start throwing soon.

SP Jeff Samardzija, San Francisco Giants

He is on the DL with right shoulder tightness and on a rehab assignment.

SP Caleb Smith, Miami Marlins

Smith is on the DL with a left lat strain. It was a Grade 3 strain and he’s going to have season-ending surgery July 9.

SP Mike Soroka, Atlanta Braves

Soroka is on the DL with right shoulder inflammation. He was moved to the 60-day DL and is out until late August.

OF Steven Souza, Arizona Diamondbacks

Souza is on the DL with right pectoral soreness. He is on a rehab assignment.

SP Stephen Strasburg, Washington Nationals

He is on the DL with right shoulder inflammation and threw a 35-pitch bullpen session over the weekend.

RP Hunter Strickland, San Francisco Giants

Strickland will miss 6-8 weeks with a right hand fracture as of June 19.

SP Noah Syndergaard, New York Mets

Syndergaard has a strained ligament in his right index finger and is on the DL. He threw a 31-pitch bullpen over the weekend and will throw in a simulated game this week.

SP Jose Urena, Miami Marlins

Urena is on the 10-day DL with a right shoulder impingement and slated to return Wednesday.

SP Vince Velasquez, Philadelphia Phillies

Velasquez was struck by a line drive and placed on the DL with a right forearm contusion.

RP Arodys Vizcaino, Atlanta Braves

Vizcaino is on the DL with right shoulder inflammation. He could return this week.

SP Michael Wacha, St. Louis Cardinals

Wacha was placed on the DL with a left oblique strain. He will return after the All-Star break.

SP Adam Wainwright, St. Louis Cardinals

Wainwright is on the 60-day DL with right elbow inflammation. He will resume a throwing program next week.

C Matt Wieters, Washington Nationals

Wieters is on the DL with a left hamstring strain and scheduled to hit in a simulated game this week. He is expected to be back around the All-Star break.

1B Ryan Zimmerman, Washington Nationals

Zimmerman is on the DL with back soreness and could begin a rehab assignment this week.
