  • Most Favorable QB Schedule: BUF – A.J. McCarron / Josh Allen / Nate Peterman
    • McCarron should win the job but it’s not a good sign that in mid-July, several scouts have whispered that Peterman has looked like the most game-ready of the three quarterbacks. There is a distinct possibility that 2018 No. 7 pick Josh Allen will be learning from veteran QB A.J. McCarron on the sidelines rather than on the field. Regardless of how this situation shakes up, I’d stay away from all  three quarterbacks in redraft leagues.
  • Least Favorable QB Schedule: GB – Aaron Rodgers
    • This does not mean you should shy away from drafting Rodgers! He’s a stud!
  • Most Favorable RB Schedule: MIN – Dalvin Cook
    • In 2017, Cook blew out his ACL in his left knee. It’s hard to trust a RB returning from such a serious injury but he is clearly a three-down running back with PPR value. Prior to the injury, Cook produced 444 yards with two TDs and 11 catches on 95 touches in four games. With a strong schedule, he should finish as a RB1 in most leagues.
  • Least Favorable RB Schedule: WAS – Derrius Guice
    • Will Guice get loose in Washington? Jay Gruden will have his hands full after downgrading at the QB position from Kirk Cousins to Alex Smith. However, that should mean that Washington will focus on running the ball on offense. After confirming that Chris Thompson will remain the third-down back, Guice should see the majority of touches on early downs. His skill-set is remarkably more versatile than fellow running back Samaje Perine. All that said, Guice will face some very difficult opponents. Fortunately, the offensive line improved so I don’t expect the Redskins to finish 28th in rushing like they did in 2017. Expect the rookie to struggle out of the gate (especially with the coach speak about Perine possibly starting in Week 1) but Guice could be one of those buy-low candidates to target. He should get better with experience as the season progresses. Despite the schedule, I project him to finish as an RB2.
  • Most Favorable WR Schedule: ATL – Julio Jones
    • There have been tons of rumors about Julio Jones. He deleted all Falcons-related content from his Instagram and is not participating in workouts with the team. There is still plenty of time before mandatory training camp and I believe the organization will work something out with Jones. Still, his injury history and lack of touchdowns in previous seasons is a major concern. Despite his favorable schedule, he no longer ranks as a top 5 PPR WR in my personal rankings. I’d prefer Antonio Brown, DeAndre Hopkins, Odell Beckham Jr., Keenan Allen, and Michael Thomas.
  • Least Favorable WR Schedule: IND – T.Y. Hilton
    • It doesn’t help that Andrew Luck is coming off a major injury and has the fourth-most difficult schedule at the QB position. Hilton is a boom or bust candidate to me and right now, I’m leaning towards bust.
  • Most Favorable TE Schedule: LAC – Virgil Green
    • We don’t know if Antonio Gates will ultimately return to the Chargers. All we know right now is that Virgil Green is the starting tight end. I was really looking forward to a Hunter Henry season without Gates but injuries always change the landscape of Fantasy. Despite the schedule, Green is ultimately a backup tight end. I’d stay away.
  • Least Favorable TE Schedule: ATL – Austin Hooper
    • It’s interesting that the Faclons have the most favorable schedule for wide receivers but the least favorable for tight ends. Despite a few strong outings in 2017, Hooper’s value takes a dip after the Falcons drafted Calvin Ridley. It may be difficult for Hooper to crack the top 20 tight ends in 2018.

Here at FullTime Fantasy Sports, we are always developing new tools to help you gain the biggest advantage over your competition and win fantasy championship after fantasy championship. This upcoming season, if you want to be as smart as our experts, you need to become familiar with our Strength of Schedule Tool, or SoS. It’s an extremely valuable tool that will assist you in making the right moves during your draft and help you school the rest of your league when it comes time to wheel and deal.

As you get deeper into your draft, things tend to tighten up. Once the stars are off the board is when championship-winning teams are built. And this is when the SoS comes in mighty handy. It can show you just how favorable a player’s matchups are over the course of the full season based on how many fantasy points his opponent allowed per game to his specific position. Or you can customize your search and go straight to the playoffs to see what a player’s schedule looks like during those critical weeks.

Maybe you’re stuck choosing between Andy Dalton and Patrick Mahomes in the late rounds. You are leaning toward Dalton due to his experience, but you really like Mahomes’ upside with Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins. Instead of stressing out, let the awesome SoS do the work for you. You’ll see that Dalton has the fifth-most difficult schedule for quarterbacks in Fantasy Football while Mahomes has the seventh-easiest. You can also filter based on Fantasy playoff schedules (Week 14-16) when Dalton has the second-most difficult three-week schedule in the NFL. In this case, Strength of Schedule may be what breaks the tie breaker and ultimately helps you decide to choose Kansas City’s Mahomes over Dalton.

The SoS truly gives you the upper hand when it’s time to trade. Let’s say you know you’re going to be the No. 1 seed during your league’s playoffs. If you follow the advice of FullTime Fantasy Sports experts all season long, it’s no wonder why you’d end up the top dog. As the trade deadline approaches in November, you could really use a top-notch wideout. So, whom do you go after: Mike Evans or Tyreek Hill? Both were beasts last season but Hill faces three solid defenses from Week to Week 16 and has the second-worst Strength of Schedule in the Fantasy postseason. Meanwhile, Evans has the eighth-easiest! Again, trust in the SoS.

But the SoS goes far beyond letting you see full-season and playoff matchups. You can view matchups for separate portions of the season — Weeks 1-5, 6-10 and 11-15. You can also check out the favorability of a player’s remaining schedule at any point in the year by clicking the “Remaining Games” link. And the SoS will be updated each week during the season to provide you with the latest fantasy-points-allowed data.

This tool is for serious owners who are dedicated to winning, just like all of us at FullTime Fantasy Sports. When used properly, it can sometimes mean the difference between a championship or a close second-place difference. With the SoS at your disposal, you have a massive competitive edge. It’s yet another innovative way that FullTime Fantasy Sports is committed to making you a winner.
